Tanks in your pocket?

Hey guys i just ordered some chibi tanks and was curious if anyone knows whether or not you can put them in your pocket while they are on the tank, will the tank slide off or should I be more careful and not put it in my pocket?

I have a Chibi but I don't tend to keep a PV in my pants pocket so I can't really answer your question.

However, the Chibi's O-ring is a pretty tight fit around a Boge LR carto so I wouldn't have thought that sliding would be an issue if the PV was handled carefully.

I don't have a Chibi. But the tanks I did (past tense) use came apart in my pocket and made a mess.

I don't think I would drop one in my pants pocket, but I have a spare tank that stays in my shirt pocket all day with no problems.

It would probably be OK in a shirt pocket. I put mine in my pants pockets. Not so good.

I put my KM Tank KM Carto Tank in my pants pocket with no worry about anything happening, the tank seals are almost to tight.

A shirt pocket should be ok, although I leave the tanks at home. I just use a carto for out and about, but I'm retired, so don't have to worry about something that needs to last all day.

I might park my pv w/ tank in my back pocket for a couple of minutes, but I am very aware of it if I do. Obviously, I wouldn't want to sit down w/ it there.
I have no problem carrying it around in my shirt pocket.

I use a chibi tank and throw it in my purse all the time with no problems. the grommets fit tight and don't slide any whatsoever. the chibi works on balance of air pressure, as long as the air pressure is balanced inside the tank it will not flood and dump it's juice out the bottom of the carto.

As for pants pockets.. I would imagine that all tanks would have to be handled carefully. with the chibi, if you were to move around too much you could tear it apart somehow.

Ive used my lil mamma tank on a ego battery in my pocket ( with a drip tip on ) and didnt have any issues, I dont have a pawn or ming drip tip, so there was always a chance of the tank sliding to far up and off, but it never happened, or leaked, although as stated above, having a drip tip with a nice round booty will help hold the tank on.

I use the cheap smoktech tanks and have never had a problem, ever. Just make sure when you pull it out of your pocket you grab it by the drip tip, or the PV itself.
