Tank's with the regular XL batt's?

Do they actually work on the ashcap XL batteries? Cause I read they only work with the Diamonds and stealth.

That is correct Krazie sir, they only work with the new king diamond and stealth batts...

There seems to be some inconsistency on the ash-cap models though

* Works good on the following that I've tried:
. Diamond XL Manual
. Diamond Reg Manual
. Black-button ash-cap manual XL
. red-shorty ashcap auto
. 3 ash-cap regular-length autos (black, red, green)

* does NOT work on:
. PT w/ any of my 5 wall adaptors
. hard-button ash-cap manual XL

I also tried it on a second black ash-cap regular auto, and it fires sporadically (but in fairness, that batt acts a bit funky on some wow or coolcarts, needing big airflow to fire consistently)

Have not had the guts to try it on any of my auto diamond or stealth batts.

Just thought I'd also add,
All of my batts are V4L branded. Some were picked up on the classifieds here on ECF, some were "clearance" models from V4L, and some where the non-clearance "single logo" ones. The ones I got from V4L I've had less than 3 months. Cannot speak the the heritage of the ones from ECF classifieds.

the tanks work on pretty much all auto and manual diamond and stealths that I have tried... even a shorty auto stealth..

All of my batteries with ashcaps are pretty much shot so I haven't tried them.

KK, the 3.5 tank works on my gold-button XL manual, ash cap, that I've had for 18 months. Better on the KD XL, tho.
