Most everyone has a drill, cordless is the easiest to work with.
Simply cut a heavy piece of wire about 12" long, bend it into a "L" shape with the bottom part of the L about 3" long. Put the long end up into your drill chuck and tighten down. Now put a cart condon cup onto the cart, then attach the cart to the 3" long piece of wire. You can use either a rubberband or 2 clothspins, I use the spring loaded clothspin. Now to avoid any spillage hold the drill down into a cardboard box. Slowly squeeze the trigger until desired speed aquired, let run 15-20 seconds and the carts should be emptied into the cup.
If you are just trying to dry the cart out after a cleaning/boiling, then no cup would be necessary to catch the water.
NOTE: the longer the bottom part of the L is, the more apt the drill will wobble at higher speeds. Mine is actually 2-1/2". I will add a photo ASAP to this post. Also if you run the drill to fast the cup may slip off the cart. I try to clamp the front clothpin close to the cup so the cup is pinched between the wire and cart. A rubber band works best but it take allot longer to wrap and remove the band, clothspins are fast.
Note how clothspins are positioned, they will fall off if not put on pointing this way.
