Been vaping for like 4 months now on my EGO-C

and my favorite flavor is strawberry , its a 60pg / 40 vg liquid from itisvapor.

When i first started i noticed i would loose taste for it and switch to a different flavor then back again after a day or 2.
Which was going fine up until about a couple of days ago.

No matter what i do i cant taste the strawberry flavor for longer than 1-2 hits. after that it just tastes like , well not much.
I can taste my 2nd favorite flavor grape just fine.

Any suggestions or logic behind whats going on here?

As for why this happens. Well you are not tasting the vape. You smell it and your senses view it as flavor even though it not. practically, you ever walk into a room and it smells like fart? After a few seconds the smell "goes away". Nope your brain just filtered it out. Same with vaping, your brain gets usto the smell.

Suggestions are to
1. drink more water. Dry mouth will make the taste vanish faster.
2. More flavors in your rotation.
3. With time your buds will normalize.

I had this when I first started, eventually everything tasted the same. I haven't experienced that recently but do notice if i take a break i can taste the flavor better. Morning vapes and after work are best (can't vape at work).

My theory was that the PG or VG coats your tongue after a while, I could be wrong, i usually just take a break and its all good
