Taste bud Change

So I got really sick this week. Fever, stomach ache, basically the flu. When I started feeling better I picked my e cig up and was a little shocked. All the flavors I liked before I was sick I cant stand the taste of now. My sense of smell seems to have doubled over night. My sense of taste as far as other things seems to be ok.

My wife thinks that because I had to take a cortico steroid to help repair some nerve damage after a tooth removal might have thrown all my hormone lvls out of whack and could affect my taste.

Anyone ever had this happen??

Not the same as you..taste change of taste after a sickness or meds. I did have some odd taste changes about 2 weeks into vaping. I just couldn't taste fruits anymore and I couldn't stand vanilla or coffee at all! It was weird. After a few days it came back! A few weeks down the road I couldn't stand anything with cream or tobacco in it..that stayed.
We go through all sorts of taste change..put away what you don't care for and in a few weeks try again.

I have not been sick since I have been vaping, so I can't help ya out there. I can tell you that when they were out of my fav flavor of menthol I switched to another and have been using it for 3 weeks, then my reg flav came in and I ordered some. I was shocked that it totally has a new taste that isn't the same. I have been back at my old stuff for only 2 days and it is starting to come back a little at a time.

Every time I have a cold it messes with my taste buds for a week or so. It throws my coffee lovin flavors all off. It takes me a few days after feeling completely healthy to go back to normal. I hope this is true for you as well.
