Tin Tasting Batteries

Okay - dumb question but has anyone else ever had a battery that seems to give off a tin taste? I am slowly increasing my battery supply but have one guy that just seems to ruin the experience. I will put the same carto on another battery and not have the problem. Just checking - maybe it's just the fact that it's so )(*)(* cold here in Iowa that my senses are messed up.

That's very odd. I've not heard of anything like that!

I hate to say it but I don't think it can be coming from the battery. Anyone else?

i'm with wader on this. how can any flavor be coming from the *battery* ?
doesn't it just pull power only? the power atomizes the liquid in the cartomizer to create vapor.

I had that same problem, it was right after I started vaping. I kept trying to light my PV!
Hint, dont carry a lighter any more!

Okay ACOJ are you just giving me a hard time? I am thrilled with my V4Life experience - not needing the stinky cig is the best thing that has happened to me in a long long time - but I'm serious on this... perhaps it's a mental thing as I am talking about a chrome battery - maybe it's just the color. Seriously not a complaint by any means I just really notice the difference using this battery.

Yes I was kidding with you! I notice wierd things and tastes, maybe the battery in question is a little hotter than the others? I would worry if this is an auto batt. It could be leaking and you are inhaling something not so good! If so quit using that battery!

I had this same problem with a dse 905. It is not in your head. Does it taste like you are "testing" a 9v battery with your tongue but without a shock?

I've never had that problem and I've used around 25 batteries of all different types.

Very strange indeed. Just a theory here; but say the carto is not making absolutely good connection with the battery, there could be a high resistance point there and could cause heat to generate giving off some unknown metalic vapor and strange taste. I have had some bats that barely made contact with the cart unless I screwed it on very tight. Some I had to file away the top of the threads a bit to get a tight fit. Just a thought!!!

Iowa..are you putting a carto ON the battery? I am of couse teasing you..but I have stuck a batt in my mouth uncarted...yuck bah and ptttff! I am just wondering if you have a filling coming loose or something..maybe that one batt aggravates it!
