Taste Buds not Cooperating

Hi all. I got my last order of juice in yesterday and had a chance to try the banana laffy taffy I ordered. It's delicious. They also threw in a sample of gummy bears, and it is yummy gummy for my tummy . I'm glad they threw it in because it's on my list for the next order. Now I already know I like it and can order a bigger bottle.

I was really looking forward to trying a couple more flavors today, but I can't taste anything Nothing. Nada. And I mean anything. I can't taste any food I eat or any ejuice I vape. I'm really sad. I wanted to try the vanilla tahiti for sure today, but now I'm going to wait until I can appreciate it.

I know it'll come back, but I'm not very patient.

I had this the other day as well. Anything I vaped tasted like ... well to put this mildly... crap. I drank a ton of water continued to vape and it got a little better by the end of the day.

Since then, I've been making sure to keep myself VERY hydrated.

Patience is something I have very little of as well. Hope your taste comes back soon!

I usually get that way after chain vaping for 18+ hrs. When brushing and rinsing doesn't help. I know sleep is my only solution. However keep in mind that your taste buds will be rejuvenating for months. Usually if you can't taste food, I'd suspect it's more related to that.

I think that's just a woman thing. I wonder if they don't yakkity, yakkity, yakkity so much that it convolutes their red corpsesuckles in their tongues rendering their taste buds in a comatose state as a self-protection mechanism.

But I wonder how Ab gets it too? Maybe its one of those things I'll never know ...

This happens to me when I vape too many different or too many strong flavors. I go back to vaping strictly menthol or unflavored for a day and by the next day I have my buds back. I have passed this along to many people that also said it worked for them. Good luck.

Thanks Salem. I'm going to try that. I'm just vaping plain menthol right now. Hopefully I'll be back to normal in a day or two. I've had similar experiences a few times, but I've never not been able to taste my food. That's what is so weird to me.

I've brushed and rinsed four times today and nothing. I can feel the tingle but still can't even taste the toothpaste or mouthwash. It's like my whole tongue is numb.

I think that we just overwhelm our buds and they retreat for awhile. Stick with plain menthol for a day or 2 and all will be well. I make it a rule to never try more then 2-3 flavors in the same day. If it is a strong flavor I keep it to an occassional vape.

I'm going through the same thing right now; it started last night. I think I vaped way too much butterfinger and it messed me up. The good thing is that I can taste thin mint cookie. So, I'm just going to vape that for now.

This sounds like a good plan to try out when your tastebuds have gone arry. In your experience does it have to be menthol or will any mint do? I only ask because I HATE menthol (kinda funny because that's what I smoked at first ) but love straight mint or spearmint. Those ever produce the same desired effect for you?

tastebuds are a strange thing. one day good one day bad. I never discount a flavor because of tastebuds. give it a few days and all of a sudden you have a killer vape. give everything time and revisit it
