i had this happen like a month after i quit the cigs. everything made me gag all a sudden. all i cld vape was some cococreame with out the gag factor. now i just vape menthol lol when all else fails menthol is always vapable. im a menthol guy tho. my taste is deff different than when i first started tho. things i loved are so nasty now. ill stick with cool rush menthol and im ok with that tho!

Haha, no don't do that. Cart = Cartridge (yes), and Carto = Cartomizer (no).

Look into the PTB (pyamid tea bag) and/or the blue plug as an alternate filler. I've found you get more flavor from them.

I may have stumbled onto something about the flavors getting flat. I had noticed before that a few of the flavors kinda lingered in my sinuses during the day between vaping breaks but didn't think much on it. Recently I've had some upper respiratory crud and I have been using my neti pot to clear my sinuses. Guess what? The vaping flavors came back!

So, not only do we need to clean out our atties and carts... we may also need to clean out our sinuses!

no dont pull the stuff out of the cartomizers. if u feel u have to clean it out i just rinse it out under water and blow it out from the top till water stops coming out of it. repeat a few times. let it dry for a few hrs fill it back up

My bad, told ya I am new! Cartomizer yes thats what I have. And no I will not pull the stuffing out.

I am going to try the Redbull 18mg from electronicstix (its always been a little on the strong side for me). If nothing else works I will be a boiling or something by tmr.

Yeah I have a few that I pop between, mostly RY4, Redbull, Mt Dewy & another I can not remember at this crazed out.

Okay, so redbull is the only thing I can taste - that is progress in my eyes. I will need to go through this thread again tmr and see about cleaning out the rest of them just to be on the safe side. Stale chocolate - ick.

LOL! It's not that bad! A saline nose spray might do the trick instead, though... you still have to stick it up your nose.

Nothing would make me cry quicker, you would not believe the sinus insanity I have dealt with for the past few days, but hey if this helps to avoid those nasty sinus headaches I am good with that.

Yaay! Glad to hear you found something you can taste Atty cleaning still sounds like a plan though. I'm expecting to get some Atomic Fireball in soon...I hear this is something that's pretty darn hard NOT to taste...might be a good one to have on hand if this happens again (if ya like the flavor of course).

(The neti pot has helped me a great deal this last year through sinus surgery, allergies and colds. Once you get past the 'eew' factor it's really quite a relief! Saline nasal spray too, though it's not as effective.)

Redbull only lasted for afew puffs, but I think its tastebuds freaking out being overworked, so maybe once I crash for the night they will have time to recover.

Spray makes me sniffle a tad, but this weekend since my last smoke on friday I have been sneezing my head off (and its cold outside, so I prefer its just my body getting rid of junk rather than catching a cold).

I still taste a little of the redbull, not a ton, but enough that its not as bad as the rest of today has been - its like pure evil, I can not even justify the ick of it with anything other than "ick".
