i gave the last of my american spirit blacks to a friend last night, and had a drag of one to see if i'd like it.

hell no.

it's so weird that my preferences have literally changed overnight. i just started on my e-cig monday, and the spirit blacks used to be the loves of my life. i used to explain that smoking one of those was like smoking a good burger... but now they taste like dirt.

did you all feel this way about taste? or did you still enjoy cigarettes for awhile after getting your e-cig?

I smoked and vaped at the same time for about 2 months and over time, I started liking the vaping more and more. I got to the point that I could only smoke about 1/4 of an analog before I had to put it out because I could not stand the taste anymore.

At this point, I cannot imagine going back to an analog because I cannot even stand the smell of one now and after over 30 years of smoking that is really something to say.

A few weeks ago I was camping with friends and having a few drinks around the fire, someone was smoking and I thought WTH ill see what it like now that it has been 5+ months

And it was WTH and confirmed that I have made the right choice.

Any way MsTs Hot Chocolate with a good dark beer is so good. The Nasty cigarette almost ruined my night. It took hours to get the taste out of my mouth.

Never again I will vape for life. :)

Nope. After a few days, analogs tasted like burnt poop to me. The quitting was almost a reaction rather than a choice (though my brain still gets the 'urge' to light up an analog, i tell it to knock it off).

oh for the good old days, the challenge of finding a smoke-able .... in my car ashtray at 3:00 AM while it is raining

in my younger days i even used to suck on my ball point pen but sometimes i would get a mouth full of ink, i hated that when it happened

and when my cartomizer/cartridge starts tasting like rotting dung i think to myself,
Is there a man with soul so dead that to himself has not said " screw this fake ecig crap, i want a real cigarette" j/k

and after your initial ecig fanaticism subsides cig will not taste quite as bad, i'm not saying good, just not as bad especially when you are having a nicotine fit

from the Tricky .... Nixon days, the inside politics was "when you have got them by the balls their hearts and minds will follow"

oh, Richard Nixon's public nick name is a no-no here? quite conservative aren't we?

James ( on a bad day ) a two pack a day smoker

========================

July 20 smoked 00 cigs, 40 less than my usual 40 cigs a day 2723 cigarettes not smoked in 78 days by using Stonewall, Joye 510, Hello 016, Ken's BoxMod, MadVapes 2xAA Box Mod, WetBox Vaporizer (ecig) and 19 bottles of ejuice partially used , $0.28 per cig X 2723 Cigs = $762.44 diverted from cigarettes to Vaporizer (ecig). OMG I have spent over $1671.51 in 74 days on this stuff but bare in mind that my old cigarette cost was $330 a month and i have $790 in supplies so $880 in hardware and consumed ejuice

Since I got my PV, I have been smoking a morning cig still, while I let my puppy out to potty. I always put it out after a couple of puffs. It honestly doesn't taste the same!
I have a carton of analogs as that's how I used to buy them and I'm trying to figure out how I can sell them so that I can have some extra money for juice! LOL
I've also noticed that instead of craving analogs, I've been craving my PV! I love it!!!

My wife and I went out of town to a barbecue last weekend, about a 3-hour drive from home. I was in such a hurry, about 30 minutes into my drive there, I realized I forgot my eGo. I was suffering at the at the barbecue, and while I was sitting around with smokers, I was surely tempted. The smoke started smelling really good, but I bit the bullet and resisted the temptation of smoking one.

When I got hom, I ran in, grabbed my eGo, and started vaping like there was no tomorrow!
