I know this belongs in the DIY thread, but I'm a new member to this particular site, (previous member of POTV but wanted to join here) anyways, I made some peach 8mg e juice about 4 days ago and decided to taste test it today. I did follow a calculator so all the measuring is precise and correct. Anyways my juice has a strong nicotine taste, kind of like having dip in your mouth. It tastes like how pure 100 ml/mg nic smells. Is this from my juice not steeping long enough, or maybe I need to add a few more drops of peach?

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks!! :2cool:

edit: I realize it's probably too early in the steeping process, I wanted to wait a week but was running low on juice so I stole a cart of juice from it, just wondered if that was definitely the case, or flavoring being too low.

What percentage of peach flavoring did you use? (Actually it would help if you gave all of your percentages) I make a strawberry now and then and usually use around 10% flavoring on that one. I am using a 100mg nic base and also using a calculator like yourself. I usually make 30ml batches at 12 mg. I get a real flavorful strawberry taste without any nic background flavor.

I simply shake the bottle once it's done being added for 2 minutes or so. So flavors are ready to vape right away some come off as too harsh like the one im using now so it sits for a few days. If your noticing a odd taste and are positive everything was done right I personally would dump the nic. You should have a sort of smooth/light peppery taste with just the nic, pg, vg. Other then that I would chalk it up to a bad batch.
