I'm a menthol vaper and got TV's Menthol(plain). I got the 24mg, 35%VG, and I use a DSE601 e-pipe. It taste just like burnt sugar or cotton candy. Didn't expect that.

I emailed and they said that's the way it's supposed to taste because of the additive they use. I emailed back and asked if they could make a menthol using something that didn't taste like burnt sugar and I never heard back.

This stuff might sell like crazy if marketed as "Cotton Candy", but it sure ain't menthol. It's way to sweet as an all day vape - or even a one hour vape. The smell makes my wife sick and after about an hour, I couldn't take any more.

I'm on the fence about TV. I've got six bottles of the stuff sitting here that I'm not quite sure what to do with. What I definitely don't like about their liquids is the harsh or "peppery" bite they all seem to have. It seems to mellow somewhat over time, but I have yet to get one that ages into a "smooth" vape. I've thought of buying a doubler or two to see if that tones the harshness down and kicks the flavors up a notch, but I'm a bit nervous about spending more money for something that may or may not work. I do think these liquids have potential, but right now (for me, anyway) they are missing something. I just don't know if doublers is the answer or not.

With all that being said, what I DO like about these liquids is the complete lack of chemical and/or floral taste that so many liquids seem to have. There is none of that (or at least the ones I've tried) in TV liquids.

Why not buy ONE doubler in a falvor you have, htat you like, and see if the nic thats giving it the bite? Nic DOES change the flavor of juices - I have a doubler and juice in butter rum - the doubler is smoother; I like them both though so its not an issue for me but I can see why you'd make the comment you made :)
Also: Ive noticed the sharper tones tend to mellow out over time, so it may be a case of wait n see. I have a bunch of TV juices, some of which really tatste better over time and some I can guzzle down right from the get go and others which fall into both camps (great from day 1 unbelievable 2 weeks later). He uses so mnay ingredients though it might be something OTHER than nic, (like a cinamon base or dairy base flavor) but getting a doubler in a flavor you have already should eliminate (or confirm) at least one theory :)
