Ive tried many different liquids in the last 8 or so months but nothing that Id tried had been it for me. Most didnt have much if any flavor that could be detected by my nearly deceased taste buds. And any hint of flavor I could taste in some would fade in a couple of days.
Despite all the great vendors here, some of whom have gone out of their way to help, I was getting close to throwing in the towel on the whole thing.
Id been seeing lot of rave reviews about Tasty Vapor, so I decided to place an order. I talked to Geoff, telling him that I had been trying for a long time to find that just right liquid for me. After asking me a few questions, he generously offered to let me try a new flavor hed developed but didnt have on the website just yet.
So I ordered that flavor Bananas Foster and decided to try the coconut cream pie, too. I also ordered doublers in both flavors and hoped for the best.
My order came in a few days, and even just smelling the liquid I could tell that this was different.
I dont know how this is possible, but they tasted even better than they smelled. And neither of them were limited to one distinct flavor, but seemed to be layered. The coconut cream pie mimicked exactly what you would taste when biting into a piece of pie a creamy, coconut flavor combined with a hint of pastry. Ive never even eaten bananas foster, but when Geoff told me that it was a blend of banana, vanilla, rum, caramel cinnamon and nutmeg, I knew Id like those flavors. And again, my taste buds might be on life support, but I can pick out each one in the combo. I bought 48mg and have mixed half-and-half with doubler, so @ 24mg I am getting a good throat hit, as well, and that blinding fog of vapor that I love.
But the most unusual thing is I seem to have to top off less often than I ever have before.
Ive read a little about how the viscosity of liquid effects capillary action not that I really wanted to read about it, Id rather just have it happen, but after getting that burnt taste often enough I wanted to figure out how to avoid it, and from what Ive read, the right liquid will be not too thick and not too thin, and apparently Tasty Vapor has hit that magic mixture.
I am dripping 7-8 drops on a 510 atty on a Prodigy and I havent really counted but Im probably taking 18-20 drags before I need to drip again. And I seem to take a lot of unnecessary primer-like puffs, so Im actually wasting some liquid. Ill have to work on that.
I intentionally waited a week or so before writing a review to be sure I wouldnt have that whered the flavor go thing. That definitely hasnt happened, and I cant wait for my next order to arrive!
