Our lovely host Canaca.com (of whom we suggest you avoid like the plague) has struck again!

Not only is our site down, but hell, THEIR site is down.

We're making the switch to another host. The transition should be seamless, should happen in the next two days.

The previous host not only had constant down time, and various other issues, but did not offer the PCI Compliance that is required of an e-commerce site like Tasty Vapor.

This will change shortly.

uber i take offence to that LOL.

I'm not a NERD
I'm just More computer literate. LOL
but like uber said if ya need assistance or testing on it.
Just hit us up. & im sure many of us will give a hand.

like i said they could have rebooted or possibly had just dns issues or who ever's isp is having dns issues. if problem arises 4.2.2.2 and 4.2.2.3 is the dns i use from verizon. Possibly only good in states. but helps me pinpoint issues.

It's not the cache, it's the host. They're idiots. Have always been idiots and I was an idiot for placing my business in their hands.

Their servers are CONSTANTLY going down. All of their "support" is handled by e-mail, included urgent tech support. They're far to relaxed and incompetent and my business and my clients are far too important to be hosted by these twits.

I'll be switching to a more reliable host ASAP.

Hell, I've got 30+ outbound e-mails that won't even send because they can't fix a simple server issue. I've been unable to send e-mails for 3 days now and they JUST got back to me....no no no.

I'm backed up with orders which is bad enough, but being unable to answer client questions about order status, products, etc.....Can't stand for that crap.

No place like ~/
Geoff, if you're hurting to get those emails sent I can set you up with an account on one of my mail servers for outbound mail. You don't have any DKIM or SPF setup for your domain (which you should consider setting up when you're settled into your new hosting) so there'd be no issues sending your email out through another host.

As co-owner (not that I know or do anything) of an IPS I know what your going through and understand.
Sometimes issues come up that the provider has no control over but there is never an excuse for not getting back to your customer personally and ASAP, and then making sure you keep them in the loop about how you are solving their problem.

Hopefully the new provider will be better for you but if not please feel free to pm me and I can see if there is anything the hubby can do for you- After all you do so much for all of us that want you as stress free and healthy as possible.

When running an e-commerce site, a reliable host is invaluable! Good to hear you're making a switch. You guys have had a LOT going on with the move, and now host issues. I'll bet you're ready to be back up and running at full steam again with no hiccups, but we'll all wait patiently and do anything we can to help!

I'd order by phone or US Mail if I had to. You're product is too good!
