Tasty Vapor w/joye510...Problems? Anyone?

Hi all,

I use a joye510 and have loved its performance for 5-6 weeks - clouds of vapor...just recieved a shipment of liquid from tastyvapor.com and seem to be having some trouble with it. My atty's flood very easily, and even when not flooded - produce hardly any vapor at all with this liquid. I am super-bummed because the few times i have got it to hit right- this liquid tastes so good! And the service - and the doublers! I mean come on! I so want tasty vapor to work for me! I have to get this stuff to work in my 510's (i have 4 of 'em)! At first I thought I was losing an atty or weak battery so I tried another brand of eliquid I have laying around and poof...clouds of vapor. Then I try the tastyvapor liquid again and nothing, hardly any vape. hmmmm. Someone, anyone - please help.

BTY the tastyvapor liquid I'm using is 1-30ml-48mg nic liquid mixed with 90ml's of doubler (50/50 pg/vg) for a total of 4oz (120ml) @ 12mg strength.

Ive had issues w/the atomic fireball doing wierd things to my atty, but all other flavors have been fine...Hmmm, ur the first to say anything besides me...what flavor is urs? my roomie had trouble after the fireball as well. added some vg and pg to it and works great now tho...

I vape a lot of Tasty Vapor liquids, and have never had an issue. Not sure what could be causing yours... do you have any VG in your mix?

Are the attys you are using older? If so, I would suggest trying a new one and seeing if that helps.

Other than that, I am stumped.

I've received a couple of orders from Tasty and have found them far superior to most other brands I've tried in flavor and vapor production. Transfer some to a smaller bottle and, as crashtestjeep suggested, add a bit of VG until you achieve the desired effect. Once you get the VG to Tasty product ratio to your liking you can then doctor the bottles shipped by Geoff. Good Luck!

I love TastyVapors liquid...not had an issue. Maybe add a bit of vg to thicken it up.

I've been banging on almost nothing but three different TV juices and doublers for a couple of weeks. I've had no atty problems in either 510 or 901 models.

I know the title says joye 510 but you have 4 and wondering, with what looks like the not so good clones coming out, whether you have some of them? L2's, SLD's BE's??

I purchased all my 510's from cignot so I'm pretty sure they are Joyes.

Thanks to all for the replies - i really want to make this stuff work.

AngusATAT - all my attys are originals from starter kit (about 5 to 6 weeks old)... the goofy thing is though, if I put another brand eliquid in I get the same good 'ol ploomy clouds of vape. I think I might have an atty or 2 under the Christmas tree so I will definetly be trying those out with the TV liquid.

One thing I forgot to mention is that I am using the blue foam mod in the 510 carts. Maybe with as "runny" as the TV juice is its causing a super-quick atty flood? The attys run hotter than heck with TV and cool to warm with other liquids. hmph . Not sure, but I will press on and update with any new findings.

Oh - and the flavors I ordered are tobacco, cafe machiatto, and butter rum. All with doublers(50/50 vg/pg) and all mixed @ 4oz - 12mg strength.

Hmm... it's strange. I use a 50/50 VG/PG mix and the blue foam mod, and the vapor I get out of my 510 is amazing. It's not very thin, so I don't know why yours would leak and flood the atty.

One thing to try is cutting your blue foam a little larger, so it compresses more in the cart. This should help to stop it from leaking.

I haven't had any problems on my 510 with TV juice.

As for the blue foam mod, I tried it and, with some juices, it's great, but with others, not so much.

Try another cart mod and see...could be your problem.

Ok - cut another blue foam chunk for the cart (alot tighter this time) and it seems to have made a difference - for the better. I am begining to believe that the issue I have been having is a liquid delivery one. The TV liquid is much more watery than any of the others I have used, so I think once I get that dialed in I should be in vape heaven.

You'll get there.

I mostly use only a couple of cart fillers depending on the viscosity of the juice, but if the flavor is light/delicate, I'll only drip that flavor.

Ok - with a tighter fitting chunk of blue foam in the cart...success! I am getting loads of vapor and no flooding! I can't even believe how good TV liquid tastes, its pretty amazing.
Would I recommend Tasty Vapor? Absolutely.

Glad u got it worked out! I always seem to find that every vendors juices are of a slightly diff consistancy so sometimes adding VG or PG to thicken or thin the juice helps tweak to my fillers....Im about to have to trry that blue foam...been on my to do list and I think Im finally ready!!!!

I have been using tastyvapor 48mg unflavored pg nic juice cut down to 18mg with VG and Lorann's flavoring....no problems here. Plumes of vapor and alot of flavor.

have you tried cleaning your atty? every so often my production drops and running under hot water and blowing out the atty from the battery connection side and letting dry for 24 hours works wonders. Maybe it's just a coincidense and you just need to get out the gunked up juice outta our atty?
