I guess I came here to vent and to see if there are any other members that have gone trough what I have been trough with this mod, first I will like to let you know a little about my background, I have been vaping for about 2 years after quitting analogs for 5 years (it's a long story) but lets just say that this electronic devices saved my marriage and from going back to the analogs, as I was saying. I'm not new to this vaping experience, I do my own coils and have become pretty proficient at it if I do say so myself, I even have experimented on making my own e-juice, I have quite a few mods and various different types of tanks, from genesis to Russians. I went ahead and decided to purchase this mod and paid over $200.00 back in June when it first came out, received it in the beginning of July 2014, my chain of thought was that the more expensive the better! Well that have not been the case. We are in August and I'm about to send my 3rd exchange back to the company for exchange again. When I first received it, the 510 connection was not making contact with any of my tanks no matter how much I adjusted the center pin on it, turns out it was an inside cable that was not making connection, they sent me another unit and that one worked well for about 3 weeks until the micro USB port became loose and it wont longer charge, now with the third unit I have it for about 2 week, on the first week it started to change the ohm reading up and down along with the volts, I will get this bad burnt taste if it went to hi, I have tried different combinations of tanks and coils to no avail and every time I sent it out for a replacement I have to pay for shipping. Now I ask you if a $200.00 mod should be this way? I have certainly purchased much cheaper mods and they still rocking like champions!
What should I do?, I like the quality and build of the device (except for the non-adjustable 510 connector) when it did work it felt nice and hit like a freight train but I'm totally disappointed with this. The service of the merchant is good, they don't give me a hard time when I call but I would hate for the warranty to run out and end up with a $200.00 paper weight. Has this happened to anybody out there with this device or am I alone? Need advice!
