It is part of a Rock and Roll sleeve ... If you don't see the difference between an iconic music mag header as a tattoo and liken it to the good housekeeping magazine header ... It is way beyond your grasp.

You are correct, it might beyond my grasp. Wait. Its a tattoo, not a deep philosophical enigma. Since you didn't give any more details, I'll just assume you like the magazine enough to brand yourself with their logo. Seems simple enough. FYI, Good Housingkeeping has been the iconic womens magazine for 130 years and has a circulation of 4.3 million kicking the ... of Rolling Stone's circulation of just 1.4M. I read neither :D

It"s all about the music dude ... why would I care about the circulation of Good Housekeeping magazine.

As I said ... if you liken a tattoo of the RS header to a tattoo of the GH logo ... it is way beyond your grasp.

I dont think tattoos and vaping are a thing...if for no other reason there are so very few ecig tattoos to be found on google :p

But I yes I have several tattoos, in fact screen name came from one...but I got that Navy background...combo with self employed for the past 10 years and planned until retirement (read NO Boss I have to dress for, HA! :p )

There is this from the Rolling Stones Voodoo Lounge album with the Black Crowes ... some from Pink Floyd The Wall, a portrait of Amy and my artist is working on a John Lennon piece.

it's all done freehand.

Damn, looks good. I got this one done about a month and a half ago, it's 2 of the symbols for my favorite band Black Veil Brides, along with some of their lyrics.

Since this thread has been resurrected, I may as well share my experience.

I am a walking contradiction. I'm in my 30's but look like a teenager (it's mostly the way my face looks fwiw), I have tattoos which are very visible if I'm not wearing long sleeves and I'm a well-educated intellectual seeking a career in scientific research. And I vape. I get a lot of judgement from all sides; I get glares when I walk into a liquor store, get talked down to like I'm a little kid or stared at by employees of the local supermarket just for being in the jewelry aisle (they think I'm gonna shoplift because of my perceived age). My tattooless peers assume I'm not serious about my career and people who meet me outside of academia assume I have no more than a high school diploma. I've gotten "you don't seem like the kind of person who..." so many times I can't keep track; most recently when working as a math tutor I was told "you don't seem like the kind of person who gets tattoos."

People expect everyone to fit a mold in some way, and it's puzzling as heck to them that I don't. No one can seem to wrap their mind around the fact that not everyone looks their age, or that not everyone on a certain career path is going to look or be a certain way. As for vaping, people expect that to fall on the being tattooed/teenage rebel side, and not the educated scientist side. People tend to assume that everyone in a scientific career will be completely drug free because that's the "smart" thing to do right? When I was a smoker I used to get so angry when people said to me "that's not very smart, you know. I thought you would know better than that..." Since when are people immune to addiction just by being smart??

Ah well... people are people. Stereotypes are easier to understand than complicated personalities. Personally I love being a walking contradiction, because my very presence is often enough to force people to question their stereotypes :2cool:
