Hello,
I'm new to vaping and forum posting so bare with me. I have been using a Evic Supreme mod for about 3 weeks and been off cigs for about 10 days. vaping with mods does work for me. I have tried many e-cigs that you get over the counter at gas stations "blue" and the throw away type but they never worked. i never got a constant result ever. with this mod I have so much control that I love vaping more than cigs. I want to start making my own flavors and have purchased the basics, nig juice, vp and pg, safety equipment but no flavors. I hope to use this forum to help learn how to mix. The mark up on e juice is less than cig tax but why pay $20 for $3 worth of material that I can do.:)

Take notes on mixing! You start tinkering and then realize you have no idea what you've made. Also I've been vaping for just shy of a year and I think the 'you save money' pitch is a load of bull. Then again I say vaping is cheaper than cancer... Glad you found your way to vaping and this community. DIY is very simple on the basics but surprisingly challenging to perfect,

True that the start up cost are great, so far over $200. but i was spending over $150 a month on cigs. cost is secoundary. If it was real cheap then the quality would be bad. Cheaper is a personal view point. I'll let you know if I can really save any money over the corse of my first 6 months.

See the trick with the costs is theres always a new device that will catch your eye, or a new topper with better air flow, or a new vendor you find with liquids you HAVE to try. I also live in the south where cigs are cheaper than most so for me the savings really took awhile. I hit a 'break even' point once back in feb i think. Then I wanted a provari, a couple kay funs, then a reo... Don't even get me started on the liquids i've bought lol

to ecf DoctorD42. So glad you are here. This is really the first forum I've ever joined and you have nothing to worry about because everyone here is wonderful. And I'll just have to tell you that this "o'l dog" has learned a bunch here. :D Lot of DIY threads on ecf and here is one that explains pretty clearly. Do It Yourself E-Liquid (E-Juice) Recipe Mixing Station! Making your own is a lot of fun. I did everything right at the beginning but I've gotten pretty lazy and I just add drops to my unflavored juice. I use Vaping Zone Gourmet and Super Concentrated flavoring because you can use drops instead of ml's. Very easy to do. Good luck to you and continued success on vaping. :)
