Tear in shrinking wrap of battery

theres a small tear in my 18650 wrap. Don't know how it happened. What are some ways to repair this? Haven't used it since I realized it.

Strip it off and fit all new shrink wrap... a bit longer than the battery, so it 'folds' over the ends.

Lapage or Krazy glue gel is what I use and glue it back down. Works like a charm. Some batteries are over 6 months with it and still going strong and still stuck down as good as when I did it. Glue it down then after put a small coat over where it separated. CHEERS!

In metal mechanical mods with bottom switches if the inside of the mod makes contact with the battery casing the mod will fire all the time. The whole battery casing is negative, so any time it is exposed there is some risk of it making contact with something it shouldn't.

Right when i see a wrap starting to come up I fix, why risk it right.
Seen it go wrong on a friends 4nine and never wanted to have the same issue.
So yeah, always maintain them batteries.
Best friend or fire in pocket.
