Yeah I have the psd, I just saved it as a jpg, it can be resized a bit if needed.

If there is interest could animate the gif too, maybe have the words Tejas and vapin transition or fade in or out...

I like em both.
I am torn between the two, I do like the idea of keeping with a Texas theme, but like you said, the second one would look good on a cap or T-shirt. It kind of reminds me of a longhorn, Hmmm.
Thinking; the second one is more original. I mean our group name already says we are from Texas, uhh, Tejas, and the Texas theme seems to be over done in our beloved state, it is everywhere you look. At the moment I am now leaning towards #2 for this reason. Can't make up my mind at the moment.

Both look good...but I think I'm liking #2 a lil more also. Just seems like it would look great on just about anything you wanted to stick it on.

The first submission needed color because of the burning effect being used and color enhanced that image.
Here is a more monochromatic scheme, unless you mean use only 2 colors - black and white:
I love them all and there has been some creativity here, but you need to consider the fades and bevels. I think Lika made that comment. The more extravagant, the higher the cost to produce. Just something to consider! As a graphics (sign) shop, we can produce full color photos on adhesive backed vinyl (decals). We have a 5 ft. printer and use photoshop to produce full color banners and vehicle wraps. When it comes to caps and t-shirts, I don't know where the technology has gone. Somebody smarter than me may be able to answer this such as screenprinting. Just a thought. But we have some good designers here.

I want to thank everyone who worked on the logos. We've got some great designs from some very talented people in our group. I'll start a new thread with a poll so we can all vote on our favorite design. This thread will be closed since the time for logo submissions has to come to an end. Again, thanks to all the designers and to everyone for your support.
