I got my new SmokTech telescoping mod from Liberty Flights just a couple of hours ago. I am absolutely thrilled and awed! Its not only exquisitely beautiful to look at, it's versatile (so many batteries, so little time!), solidly built, and it's easy to use. I had wondered about the bottom mechanical button. It's not a problem. In fact, it's quite intuitive. Vapes smooth as butter. A bit heavier than my eGo T Mod...and certainly heavier than the rather cheesy LT...but it just feels so substantial and reassuring. It appeals to my sense of it being something of substance and quality. I got the black chrome...and it's stunning. Yes..fingerprints will appear, but honestly...who cares? Gives one a reason to polish it up and admire it!

I named him "Vindicator". Thank you Liberty Flights...and Ty (also for the gifties!)!!! You guys are truly the best!

Great to hear it! I was a little skeptical of the Telescope at first, but once I received my sample, I barely put it down. It's really a pleasure to use.

Just to make sure you are aware, the Telescope has a locking switch. You can unscrew the bottom 'cap', to lock the button in place. This is really handy to prevent pocket/purse mis-fires.

Which batteries are you gals using? I get about a full day out of a single IMR 18350.... and love the smaller form factor it offers.

I'm using mostly the 18650s....I am a very heavy chain vaper, and it gets me through the day pretty handily. I also have used the 18350s because I liked the small size. Nice for going out and about! (And it looks so cute...kinda like R2D2). I'm thinking about getting some 18500s...a sort of "in-between" size for a happy medium, but no hurry. Maybe next month.

Yep..I'm very aware of the locking feature! A VERY good thing to have!

This required a bit of a "learning curve" for me (mentioned it in my review on site...I'm "madrabbit") due to the mechanical bottom button and the weight. The first day I was clumsy, and nervous. I thought the 2ohm EMSCCs weren't going to work...would taste burnt. I was WRONG. Even the 1.7 ohm EMSCC is delightful ...particularly when I need a bit of extra "oomph" in the evenings. I was so used to using my thumb or index finger to push my manual buttons, I worried at first about using my pinkie finger with that bottom button...but I've adjusted very nicely, and now I really like it! It actually seems easier for me than the thumb button now. Intuitive.

Having the skirting of the eGo cartos recessed into the mod really cuts down on the "snap crackle pop" sound when vaping EMSCCs. Mind you...I LOVE my eGo T Mod, but it can be kinda noisy, especially in bed at night! haha!! My Vindicator is quiet and smooth and SWEET (I don't always like advertising to my hubby just how much I'm vaping in bed at night! hehehe!)

I will continue to use and love my primary PVs: eGo T Mod and my 3.7 Gripper (for stealth especially)...but Vindicator has rocketed to my top favorite PV now. The more I use it...the better it gets!!

It is listed, but probably not properly explained. I'll take a look at making it more clear.

EDIT: Ok. I have updated the listing. Here is the relevant part:

It also incorporates a mechanical locking device for the switch. This allows the user to deactivate the device, without fear of mis-fires. To lock the switch, screw the bottom rung clockwise until it locks in place against the button. Reverse this procedure to unlock it.
