I would appreciate a bit of advice on using and handling the new telescoping mouthpiece in ithaka.
So I just installed it into ithaka after a clean and recoiling. I am using an additional tube for increased capacity and so had the mp fully extended before I filled with juice and put on the top cap. Then for some reason I pushed then mp in, this acted as a plunger pushing loads of juice through ithaka body and flooding out of the centre pin. Good job we have a collection tank on the gg or juice would of been everywhere. Took a while to get it to stop flooding through/ equalise the pressure and i lost about half my juice. i dont see the benifit if i cant fill up more liquid in having an extra tank section. i filled up again and fully closed tmp before screwing on the top cop. I now have the mouthpiece fully extended its working, no flooding so far but am afraid to adjust it again for sake of loosing juice, through flooding. I'm thinking this is a bit pointless as surly the idea behind the telescoping is to control distance from the coil, and so temperature, on the fly?
i did have basic feeding open, is this a no no with the tmp? Should I be completely closing off the mouthpiece/liquid control, before adjusting the telescope?
Cheers guys

you close and open it quickly my friend fork. Do it in a cooler way and you will not have any issues. The telescopic mouthpiece works like a bump too so dont move it quickly

Also, make a movement at a time. Dont try to move it 3-4 times in a row to adjust it. If for example is short then pull it a little and only once. Dont push it again inside and then pull it again

Yes I see a delicate, fluid control of the telescope reduces the flooding issue but I'm finding it quite hard as it can seem to stick a little, or my hands may be only slightly sweaty, and I feel I need to grip tighter and apply more force until eventually friction is overcome and it suddenly jumps into position. I'm sure I just need practice and to learn to find the ideal spot and leave it there. I'll also be careful not to knock it as I may easily accidentally close it too quickly. I guess I won't be carrying ithaka around in my pocket with this piece installed.

Absolutely love the idea of liquid control and control over the distance to the coil in one unit.

I'm wondering if the external tube of the mouthpiece was attatched instead to the liquid control end, and was long enough to provide a seal with the top cap in extended mode if the this issue would occurs as you would not have the plunger effect within the tank itself. This may not look as good though? I suppose it wouldn't work well in small mode or dripping mode either.

Cheers for the advice imeo
