Okay, I think this is what I want. What would you recommend for max battery life and not having to fill often. I would like to be able to take two with me in the morning and not have to worry about charging/refilling. Probably cartomizers are the way I'd go. All the lingo still really confuses me. Having ADHD doesn't help with decifering all the information:) Thanks in advance.

An ego is a great choice to get you started. Liberty-flights USA has a kit inexpensive. The vendor I buy my from is Volcano e-cigs (Inferno). Two batteries would easily get you through a day(& night). Cartos are my choice also. To start with, you can order all your setup from one vendor (Battery kit, cartos & juice). That'll get it all under one shipping charge. juice will be your search, so plan on hit & miss. As always, I will recommend my favorite juice--Halo.

Best wishes!

eGo is the name for a style of battery with a 510 conection, made popular by Janty, immitated by many.

I think you'd like there tank system.. Jets (Janty eGo Tank System).

You won't have to mess with cartomizers, just add the juice and go. I'd also recommend getting the "XL" version, it has a longer lasting battery. One of these things will last you a day and a half, no chance of needing to recharge until you go to bed.

here's their link...

I struggled too ! I also have ADHD :) It can be really overwhelming. The Ego is too loud for me , dont feel comfortable using it in the public. I would try "Bloog maxx fusion" (if its not sold out it always is) or the V4L Vapor king with an XL battery. V4L is definately where you want to go for carts and juice too . So many flavors ! I like the "555" and "Waffle" in the WOW category. Everyone has their own opinion.

I'll agree with blight231, Bloog max fusion is my favorite (I own it and 2 Jets). Performs just as well if not BETTER than any eGo set up, AND it actually looks and feels like your smoking an analog. You won't get too many weird looks in public.

But if you're still determined to get an eGo set up, go with Janty. They're the industry innovators, best quality around, best warranty around, just the best eGo period. I'd also recommend their LR attys.

If you're interested in a bloog discount code, send me a PM.

I'd also be curious to know for those recommending favorites, how long have you been using your PV? I want this investment to keep me satified for many many months! So do the tanks last longer than the carts? Is the device easy to upgrade parts on if I get bored? I got suckered into the safe cig. While it's doing the job for now, I really want to be sure I never want to go back to analogs again. Looks aren't important, but being portable and easy to conceal (like in a pocket or bra) is as I sneak puffs at work (school). Price is important, but I'd rather spend a bit more now knowing I won't be investing in yet another kit again in two weeks.

the tanks will last forever if you don't break them. It's just a removable plastic resivour. No filler or anything like that.

Janty batteries are warenteed for 6 months, and attys for 3 months. (try finding that anywhere else) But they'll last a lot longer than that if you take care of them.

I really think you'd like bloogs better, to get you off of analogs. They also have a 100% money back garentee. And their customer service is awsome.. just ask if you have a problem, and they'll make it right. I recomend the mini, as it's the closest size to a real cig. the batts will last anywhere from 2-4 hours, but thats why you get the PCC (personal charging case). it's really small, coolest design of any others out there, and will charge your bat about 4 times before having the recharge the PCC at night. It will last you a whole day. And just your luck, I believe the mini kits are the only ones instock right now. Everything keeps getting sold out as word gets spread around about how great they are. mini kits are only in stock becuase they got a large shipment in a couple weeks ago.

The bloog cartos seem to last forever also, I started a thread/experiment in the bloog subforum, about how long they last. I've been refilling two cartos, using only them every day, for over 3 weeks now. No one really knows how long they last yet, because they don't fail often.

I don't want to sound like a sales person or anything. Do some more research. Watch a few youtube reviews. You won't be disapointed with either Janty or Bloog, they're both industry leaders.

Another question....do any of the e-liquids emit an odor? Like I said, I need to be stealth on this deal.

This REALLY depends on what juice your using, but for the most part no. I was chain vaping in my basement for like a whole day (Janty RY4 Juice), and my wife said it smelled a little like caramel when she came down. But it was gone shortly there after. I've had absolutely no problems vaping in non-smokers houses.. no smell that anyone can notice.

Edit.. I've been using Janty and Bloog since Febuary.

I started with the 510 Mega and have been using ego/rivas since about November. I'm happy with them and can't justify buying a mod when I get satisfaction with LR cartos or dripping, but your needs are not mine, being inconspicuous doesn't matter too much to me. An ego/riva battery last me about 4 to 5 hours (I'm a heavy vaper) and the extra large batteries would be not so stealthable. There are plenty of choices and it can be hard to find what will work for you. There is no mini cig out there that will last you all day, none. Having only used the 510 Mega and Riva/eGo I can't give you detailed info on alot of mods, but I can refer you to products that I have heard good feedback about and that address your needs more so than previous suggestions. I personally use the boge LR 2.0 cartos and love them and suggest them. Most vapor will only give a hint of fragrance at most, but it smells very pleasant for the most part and people wouldn't suspect what it is. I have had someone mistake it for perfume after a very strong bavarian cream.

Little Sister 3.7
This is a mod and seems to be something that would be a good fit for you based on customer reviews.

Midi Vapestack
Another one known for stealth vaping with power.

RoughStack V2 Kit

These are just some examples of mods that may address your needs better than an ego/riva or traditional looking PV. Also these mods are modestly priced. There are tons of them out there, you may want to consider downloading the ecig toolbar, it has great links to many different mods and vendors.

Not trying to overwhelm you more by giving you more information, but there is bound to be something out there that fits your needs perfectly. If you don't want to go through the hassle of slogging through websites, the eGo is a good choice--I am happy with both ego/riva, but it doesn't fit your needs as well as some other PV might.

I'm not terribly familiar with the Bloog product line, but aren't all their batteries auto? Also, aren't they incapable of powering LR atties? Those things may not matter to someone who's just looking for something to keep them off analogs, but personally, I'd have to cast a vote for the eGo. Better yet, an eGo passthrough. In my opinion, that's the most versatile and all-around useful PV/e-cig out there. You get the security and control of a manual battery, the ability to run LR atties (I'll NEVER go back to standard resistance now that I've tried LRs), it's small enough to fit in a pocket and conceal with your hand, and the passthrough allows you to vape while charging. It's a win-win! I started vaping with a Volcano Magma Mega, which looks to be very similar to the Bloog MaxxFusion (except mine was manual), and I didn't stay satisfied for long. It wasn't a bad e-cig by any means, but it just doesn't match up to the eGo. As I said though, I have no personal experience with Bloog's stuff, so take what I say with a grain of salt...

Actually Bloog now has manuals as well. The'll be on the new site which should be live either today or tomorrow.

Also, aren't they incapable of powering LR atties? ...

You do realize that Bloogs (all KR808D-1's that I'm aware of) don't use atties, right? They're simple two piece systems; the atty and cart are built into one unit.. the cartomizer (carto). Bloog actaully used to offer an LR carto with the older system, but it was deemed unnecessary with the new max fusion line. I actually asked Leaford about that myself, after trying a Janty LR atty. Bloogs cartos have a high standard and are tested to run between 2.4 and 2.6ohms I believe, all together getting 3.6 volts.

Believe it or not, bloog's max fusion line and and eGo with an LR atty produce about exactly the same amount of vapor and throat hit. The only difference that I've found, is that an LR atty feels a bit cooler, while the bloog cartos have a warmer vapor (which most actaully prefer).

Also, LR attys (since they burn hotter) take away from some of the milder/fruit flavors. And they're not guarenteed for ANY amount of time, and you run the risk of damaging the eGo battery (this part I'm not sure about the specifics, something to do with the MOSFT switch inside?)

But like I said, I love them both.

The janty batteries last a long time and if you buy a starter kit you get two batteries so you always have one charged.
If you take out the filter in the tip and drop the liquid directly on the atomizer (only a couple drops) it doesn't have that nasty taste.
There also is no odor. I use to this at my desk at work and no one noticed...

Finally trying to use Ebay: Electronic Cigarette

First, I would recomend the new jets tank system over the old cart system. But as for the "bad taste", that's most likely just the primer that all attys come shipped with. you could wash it but really don't need to.. just make sure you blow it all out into a tissue and wipe the inside of the atty cone. then drip some juice right on the atty (4 drops) and insert your tank.. ready to go.

I went with the Janty EGO XL for now. after I burn out the safe cigs (with the cheaper carts to fit them), I think I will also get a Bloog. Then I'm set for whatever my mood or environment is at the time:) Now I'm impatiently waiting for it to come. Does the starter kit off the Janty site have EVERYTHING I need to get started? I ordered a bunch of sample juice from freedomusa.
