It is also my main pv. I have been using a Buzz since around Mar. or april and it has never misfired once. I go through a set of batteries about every 7 to 8 hrs. It has the ability to let you find the "Sweet Spot" for whatever carto/atty or juice you are using. It has 5 way protection so it's almost impossible to hurt it or yourself from using it. If you did have a problem their customer service is second to none in the industry. He even helped a person that bought one second hand and that's almost unheard of in business today. Just read in the notcig Buzz forum here on ecf. You will be making a wise choicce.
I could have saved allot of money if I'd bought the Buzz first.

I like many things about my Buzz. The built in protection is the best. I love the crisp button fire. The dual light is nice. It has a built in juice over flow catch valley. The batts take 3hrs to charge and last me(heavy vapor)around 9-11hrs. It's VERY user friendly. It's got a solid well built feel to it. Get one and you will not be disappointed. Also, most pics I've seen makes it look big and bulky. It is not. It's not a pv that you can hold with your mouth, but it really surprised me how much smaller it was then some of the pics i had seen before purchase.

Currently still running my 501 and eGo. Slow to change but looking at the Buzz for my first Mod. What can you tell me about it?

Glad to see you made your way over here FranC! You've already read my post on your original thread, the Buzz put the rest of my mods into retirement :) I would recomend that you get 2 sets of batteries so that your Buzz is always up and running. I'm a chain vaper and I have to swap my batts out once a day.

Take a look at the ∞Infinity∞ thread while you're here too!

Hi Fran. I'm a new Buzz owner so I can't speak for it's durability yet but I gotta say, This thing is opening up a whole new facet to vaping for me. The experience is simalar to my first 5 volt vape. This morning I dug up some juice I bought quite a while ago that I didn't care for that much. I poped a 901 atty and a drip tip on the buzz and dialed the voltage down just a touch and took a few hits. My Cafe Mocha no longer had that "plasticy" taste. It was just sweet and rich with coffee flavor. Yum!
That's the biggest plus to variable voltage as far as I'm concerned.

I love my Buzz! My first mods were VV box type mods and I will tell you that the Buzz blows them out of the water as far as durabilty and dependability. I love mine so much that I actually sold about 15 more to friends that I have here. Those friends all love their Buzz every bit as much as I do. The Buzz is not fragile (which I love). You don't have to worry about dropping it or knocking it over. The same can not be said for many other mods out there. I think that the Buzz is a great first mod and I sure wish that I would have found it first. I honestly could not imagine ever needing another mod. Of course I am being tempted by that sleek new one that Mike is working on but the Buzz does everything that I need it to do when I need it to. Hope that helped.

Hi FranC. The Buzz was my first (and only) step away from the 3.7 volt world, and I'm glad I took it. My decison was greatly swayed by the multiple safty features (I assume you've already read about them). As to performance, I did have some trouble at first with the little wire under the top cap breaking, but I sent it in and they replaced it with a longer, thicker wire and it's been chugging along quite well since. The batteries last a solid 8 hours, and the indicator light lets you know they're getting low long before performance is affected. Variable voltage is, IMO, the only way to go. As others have said, certain juices/attys perform much better at voltages that wouldn't be possible with a non-vv device (4.6, 5.3 etc). Long story short, it's a nice little device that I'd highly recommend. Fair warning though, you'll never look at your Ego the same way. Good luck with your decision.
