I just purchased some Volt X2's with clearomizers and CE3's and they have been working great, though one of the batteries I ordered completely died on me and doesn't seem like it is going to start working again.

So I'm wanting to buy something a little more trust worthy and nicer looking. I really do not mind the $ I need to spend to get it done I';m just confused on what works with what.. I've been looking into ProVari's but I don't really like the look.

I absolutely love this look. (which I found in "Pictures of your setup" by user Gilor who says it is P16 + Genesis "v5" + MMV ENA drip tip)

What does P16 even mean? and MMV ENA?
P16Gv5.jpg

This is another one I really like the "Looks" of, i'm not sure how good it is compared to the X2 but I definitely like the look of it.

My main question is.. can someone please find me a good setup to the ProVari (green) or something similar with just as good of a TH/Vapor/Batterly life.. with a lavatank or something similar like the first picture with a nice driptip that won't go melting on me.

I'm running a cartomizer tank on my Provari, very happy with it so far, good TH and vapor.
The problem with the ones you have pictured is they are RBA's, rebuild able attomizers, very finicky and not an entry level device! I'm wanting to play with one, but am waiting to find a cheap one to play with. The ones pictured are in the $100 range, FYI.
The P16 is a mechanical mod, no VV, no wires, just a tube, a battery and a switch that either activates the ground or the positive side of the battery to complete the connection through the battery tube. Simple and elegant.
Now, you never said what you are thinking about spending, or your skill level, so I'll let you fill in some of that, but if you really think you want to get into an RBA search for the Z-atty pro, it was designed by Zen to fit on the Provari perfectly. But they seem to be scarce as hens teeth!
If a tank setup is what you think you would like, look for the Kir Fanis Prive tank, again, made for the Provari, but hard to find!
I'll let this soak in, and check back latter.

The second mod is a Puresmoker Legacy mini for better battery life check out the standard. It is a quality mechanical mod.
Link : PureSmoker LEGACY Standard [18650]

The P16 has a "genesis style" atomizer. It is by Super T manufacturing and I believe is out of production. Check out their website.
Link : Super T Manufacturing, Innovative manufacturer of electronic cigarette products.

MMV = Metal Madness Vapors,UK based ENA drip tip - link : Stainless Steel Drip tip ENA

Genesis atomizers require rolling and oxidizing stainless steel mesh. Some use 325x325,400x400,500x500,and 635x635.
You also make your own coil using your choice of either ni-chrome or kanthal wire in a variety of gauges.Check under the rebuildable atomizers sub-forum to learn more.

I have a SS ZMax2 VV/VW APV I am very happy with.
I don't have a pic of my set up, but check this thread for some pix:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...es/334441-pics-v-zmax-toppers-setup-pics.html

madvapes.com has a good price on chrome. gun metal, and stainless steel models and it qualifies for free shipping.
You must use IMR batteries with this PV, EH IMR 2000mAh batts are good there too. Use discount code "holidayshopping" for 10% off order at checkout if you buy through them.

Shame about your Volt. S.I. does have a 90 day warranty on their batteries, so if it's within that time-frame you should open a ticket and at least get it replaced. They have a sub-forum further down if you need help with it.

Good luck!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was the CE3 that caused it. May of leaked and caused it to mess up. I just got that X2 today xD

wow thank you all for the quick replys ^^

My only advice is to hold off buying anything expensive until you have thoroughly researched several different mods. Looks can be an important factor in deciding between a few equally performing mods, but don't let it be the only factor.

Consider the size of the device. Consider where the activation switch is located and consider whether that location would be comfortable for you to use day-in and day-out. What size batteries does it use and how long will they last before needing to be replaced; do you want your device to last all day on one battery, or would you not mind carrying a couple extra batteries with you to enable your device to last all day long?

Consider construction and materials. Do you want your device to be able to withstand an accidental fall, or do you prefer purchasing a cheaper device that can be easily replaced by simply buying another? What about warranty? How important is it to you to be able to have a broken device repaired? Even after the warranty is expired.

Is the presence of a drip well a priority? Fixed voltage or variable voltage or variable wattage. If you are unfamiliar with those terms, you need to do more research before buying a mod.

Once you find a few devices you are interested in, go on YouTube and look for reviews of the device. PBusardo does rather intensive reviews as do others. Although their opinions are not set in stone, they are able to compare more devices to each other than most of us.

Hi Travis,
The pics you posted are very different to an X2. The pics are of advanced personal vaporizers, which we often call mods.
I see you got an X2 - those are good and give longer battery life. I had trouble with a CE3 leaking as well - I prefer cartomizers with my X2s, or a Vision vivi nova with an 808-510 adapter. Adapters cost about $3 and most of the big vaping vendors have them.
I'd say get used to the X2 before going more advanced. :)

I'm sorry, from the initial post I was assuming that they had already bought a Provari! The description being so specific and all!
I agree, look at some options, get some more ideas, then get back to us with a budget! You can go from $100 to $1000 pretty quick! Sorry about the confusion on my part!

I do not really have a budget at this point, I just want an amazing ecig hehe.
The X2 is nice and I do like it, though I wish the TH was a bit better for me & I feel a little uneasy about them considering how long one of my X2 batteries lasted.

First and foremost you need to set a budget! As I said, we can spend $100 or $1000! Then you need to figure out how much you want to work at it. As I said, RBA's aren't for everyone! They are tedious, finicky and more temperamental than a two year old!
Carto tanks are easy, simple and provide great flavor for most. A lot of newbies like the Vivi Nova's. I've tried, but they aren't my thing! Many like dripping atty's. How simple, or complicated do you want it to be?

I tell you, the volt starter kit was a good way to go for me, and well i really do enjoy the watermelon cartos. But then like i have been told by many people on this forum, if we told you what your taste buds would like, we would be you. So needless to say everyone has different tastes and styles. For now i see myself only be an 65mm style cause of where i will use it, but dunno, maybe later i horizon will grow to all the other option out there.

There are 10000's of styles, flavors, companies and all. I wish i could tell you where to go, just take your time, do some research or shoot even buy a dispoable every now and then.

I know at sheetz they sell a quick e-cig rechargable that is compatible with blu cartos.. maybe you wanna go that way, it's 1 battery, usb charger and 1 carto (menthol or tobacco) and then if you wanna grab a pack of blu cartos then maybe that will help you.

All that really matters is not picking up another analog and working on keeping your lungs and other peoples lung free of all those extra toxins.

You may want to look at a VAMO with an IGO-L Steel driptip. The VAMO is a variable voltage device much like the provari but it also has variable power/wattage which a lot of folks are liking better than variable voltage. Also, the VAMO is probably a third of the cost. I know I know...ya get what ya pay for. Well, according to all the reviews on the VAMO, the only thing different is the warranty. Supposed to be built pretty darn solid and work as advertised. No dropping voltages like some others mods...ahem...(lavatube)... The IGO-L is a stainless steel dripping atomizer. Looks really nice on the stainless steel VAMO. Some links below.

VAMO Review by Pete Busardo:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3lUnwV4_h4

Note:This review was done on the version 1 VAMO which had some battery play issues. From what I've been told, they have fixed that on the version 2 with a longer spring.

Here's a link to the IGO-L:
IGO-L Rebuildable Stainless Steel Dripping Atomizer

Good luck!
