I live in Vietnam, I have been for 5 years, and things are behind here, so I first heard about E-cigs when I saw a video about it which showed some people testing them out. They said it was satisfying so that was my eureka moment when I thought ' I could do that'. Then when I went to Hanoi I bought one which turned out to be a chinese fake, after a short time the battery couldn't take a charge, so I rigged it up to an old variable voltage power pack I had (very crudely with sellotape and wire) but it still works, except it's really inconvenient and not portable so every puff you had to plug it in and out the mains socket. I have an istick now. How was it for you? And how long ago? Did someone introduce you or what? And what were your initial thoughts e.t.c. Here I have never seen anyone except me doing it. I very much enjoy receiving your posts and look forward to hearing from you, Dazzer.

Hi Dazzer,
very interesting mod you're using there. :)
My first puff off an ecig was from my friends Blu (who kept ranting about this vaping thing), and hey it was alright. So I began vaping on them myself and smoking less and less. Within a weeks time I was completely smoke free and awaiting the arrival of my first ego style starter kit in the mail. The rest is the usual history of leveling up and up to where I'm at now with a vw mod and rda, building coils and brewing my own ejuice.
Happy vapor trails, Dazzer. :)

Mine was from a Krave IT E cig a like that I picked up at Dollar General. It was crappy tasting but it peaked my curiousity! I researched and went through all of the usual steps...started with V2 cigalikes and than to egos and carto tanks.

Now I have Kayfuns, a couple of Provari's and I DIY my own juice and make my own coils!. It has been almost 3 years since my last cigarette and couldn't imagine ever smoking again. I am also down to 2 mg nic so the cravings have been long gone!

first time i vape was blu disposable. it worked and i knew i can quit smoking with vape. but blu wasn't very satisfying. i ordered some clones from FT and waited. first "read" vape was with pennly 1:1 clone, and i think magma 1:1 clone at .6 ohm. the first hit was like.. cough, cough, cough.. too much vapor.. i don't know what to do with it! then i learned to lung hit and the rest is history.

Good for you, I haven't tried decreasing yet, but I should do, that's what I set out to do.
