Best advice I can give is start low and work your way up. Wattage settings in Temperature Control Mode really only affect the time the coil takes to heat up while the Temperature Control value is mainly used to adjust your sweet spot on the juice and avoid dry hits. I recently did a test where I used a Ni200 coil, set the wattage to wide open (200W) and temp value to 400F. I had no issues vaping with these settings, although my battery was getting a good workout, so I backed it down to 60W and stayed there. Temperature Control is an awesome feature when setup properly :)

Which temp control device do you have?? I found it difficult to achieve a "warmish" vape with TC. I have 2 DNA 40 vapor sharks that I love. I just can't get the warm dense vape from it. With the new temp control devices you can set a preheat that gets it right up to the temp you set, that might help.

I always set mine for 410* with my ni200 builds

With TC, you can run the watts full on, once the TC is reached, it throttles back to keep you there!!
