Sorry to jack your thread since it just says "temp control" I am looking forward to buy the SnowWolf 200w that is compatible with both Kanthal and Nickel wire. Currently I have istick 50w and it is being up the point where since my last build (which was this morning,) heats up the base of the atty after 6-7 tokes. So it would be nice for someone who already is using SnowWolf to come forth and submit his / her input. If he/ she can.

Thanks.

i have nickel coil which came with the tank. however now after adding juice, its telling me the resistance is low. showing .04, anyone know whats up. will not operate

maybe the coil wire is touching the inside of the metal housing around it.

maybe the tank is screwed down too tight, damaging the mod centerpin insulator and causing a short inside the 510 threadwell

I have a Snow Wolf TC mod. I am vaping at 425 degrees myself. Might turn it down some. But I'm, getting good vape there. I started at 350 degrees and turned it up 25 degrees at a time until I got where I wanted to be. I suggest you do the same.

Does it heat up the base of your atty if you are using non-micro coil? I use 30/70 blend called G2 vapors and I had to dry burn my coils every three days but so far this recent build has been providing a good vape, with the only downfall of it heating up after 6-7 tokes.

I am currently using Billow v2 and Hazematic RDA both heat up to the point where it is uncomfy. Current battery is istick 50w

To some extent, all batteries do this. The coil makes heat and the heat has to go somewhere. I can't really speak to your problem as I don't drip much. I prefer RTAs and those are shielded somewhat by having the deck surrounded by fluid. That said, yeah, sometimes the atty gets hot at the base, although I find this happens more with my mechs than the SW. The SW is temp limited, I can't see how my atty base could possible get any hotter than the temp limit I set.
