I know, I don't know what to recommend either. I haven't tried the Tengu. I don't have many airy tanks.
This is what I think may work for him?
Hurricane or Cthulhu v2 for single coil
Cthulhu v1 or v2, Aromamizer or Billow v2 for dual.
I just suggested the Cthulhu v2 but in the wrong thread...its late!!

I am, but I didn't begin as one. I put a typical dual coil, 0.5 ohm build in and it was very ho hum. And the airflow is weird. So I had to think about what to do with it (besides sell it). And I came up with quad verticals. I love it now. Ordered the new one with the Velocity deck for Claptons.
And I should add the Urba to airy single coil tanks, but its definitely a finicky thing. Just taking it apart to clean is a pain.

I don't have to rip it out just yet. I have two decks. So I'll build the spare deck and make sure its working first.

I know I'm asking the wrong questions to the wrong people. But thanks for your honest replies. I was very tempted to go with one of those aromamizers @roxynoodle but for now I have to watch my budget a little bit and choose which I'd prefer to go with first. I'm just intrigued by a single coil rba section.
I mean I have looked up every build tutorial on these by Quorax Stan already and then some, and have discovered that the ones with juice control will probably be better suited since your not just setting your wick into place. The erlkonogin that @TheotherSteveS mentioned sounds great but looks to be quite a ..... to wick and aesthetically not my cup of tea. I've narrowed all these things down, only with a few minor gripes.
Its hard to choose just one. Although some of these are cheap enough you could have 4 or 5 of them instead of one high end atty (I'm such an enabler
). I can vouch for the Aromamizer being well made. My Cthulhu is decent, and I know the company replaced ones that weren't for people, so that's good. The v1 is on clearance at Smog Distro, and the v2 is on preorder. I don't have a Billow v2, but its EHPro. EHPro stuff is decent and works, but don't expect perfection.One nice thing about the Cthulhu v2 is they are including two decks, one for single, and one for dual.
The newest Aromamizer bundle also has two decks. One is the original 3 post design, and the new one is a Velocity style.
@roxynoodle lol Yeah it really is. Just picking one of these is the reason why I've been stalling for the past week on pushing that order button. But now that I've seen a few aromamizer videos as well, it really does look pretty great. Is the flavor on it good, obviously depending on a good coil build, etc.. It looks like it's got a small enough chamber that's put into play for it to. You're now really having me consider just buying one of those for my lower dual builds then buying a nice high end RTA that will last me till the end of time. But at the same time, I have some cheaper RDAs in my collection that have lasted for 2 years now with tons of heavy use on them and are still holding up good and strong.
