Terrible Design

I was in no rush to get a Provari and was holding out for the next upgrade.

... I am counting my coins and ordering one before the new design launches!

This looks terrible cheap and nasty. I hope this is not the final design.

Ordering one of the current ones for now. Always wanted one but the design *update* makes the upgrade more urgent!


Shame they destroyed the beautiful design they had going.

Just a very strange design choice.

Now it resembles an Adult shop product even more than before.

They really stuffed this one up.

The classic design is all the had going for them besides the built quality.

I am getting a Provari V2 while they are still around and will be looking elsewhere for future upgrades...

Not at all as nice as the original. Look at the bright side when this is released the nice looking older one should be cheaper

Thats what I was hoping for.

Don't want to risk it though as there is no way I'd spend money on the upcoming design.

I'll rather order the V2 now before I miss out!

I dont know it looks kind of Celtic like or something. I doubt they remove the original version. I like both

I think I expected something built with more visible, polished or brushed, SS and some integrated bumpers or reinforced wear points.
The life of these units is measured in years, so some drop and wear protection would be a welcome feature for me.

It's a shame because the product is great but the design makes me not want to buy it and kills all excitement for the new version.

A Provape representative replied on the Provape supplier subforum that both the original 2.0v and 2.5v designs will be offered at time of purchase. He said he felt the new design is not photogenic in his opinion, but looks better in person.

That funny you would mention that.

Because when I bought my Mini, I didn't think I would like it. But once I saw it in person, I did. A Lot.

The ProVari just isn't that particularly beautiful to look at, period. It's strong point is it's features, warranty and performance. It's not eye candy, and never has been.

If the new design being brought out now had been the original design then had ProVape come out with the "old" design now, I wonder how many people would be going on about how that design looked like a woman's personal pleasure device and how "ugly" it was?

I don't see anything wrong with it. Showed the picture to my husband a couple of times (he also is a vaper) and he doesn't see any problem either. Neither design is especially gorgeous or anything. But it looks okay, to us.

I find it interesting that so many people seem to hate the new design. I like it much better than my current V2. I originally almost bought a mini just because I disliked the design of the standard so much
