I've been using the Vicious Ant Goliath for a couple months now and I have run into many problems throughout that course. It's always this terrible metallic taste that usually leads to one of the coils snapping. It's very frustrating to live in fear of it happening. I try moving the coils further from the top cap but that doesn't seem to be working very well. I love this rda but it's expensive and a hassle. Help me figure out wtf is going on with it.

Yeah it kinda sounds like a "hot leg"... I've experienced that godawful taste, then a "pop" and then the coil is dead, because a leg snapped.

When you dry-burn, take a close look at the legs; if there's gunk built up on the legs, I use one of those tiny bluedrivers to gently scrape it, then pulse/rinse again, do that a few times till the legs are really clean.
