I've been experiencing the same issue it comes and goes. I can't figure out what's causing the issues a new coil sometimes solves the problem. I keep experiencing a metal taste with a variety of ejuices. In fact I keep going back to clearomizers because the flavor is better. I tried dripping directly on the coil to prime it. I've filled the tank and let it sit for half an hour so the juice gets on the coil. But occasionally I get this terrible metal taste which ruins the flavor. Anyone experience this?

Have you tried cleaning out the tank with hot water or possibly grain alcohol and refilling it again? Maybe there is residue somewhere or you voltage is set too high.

The first thing I do with all my tanks is change out the drip tips with plastic ones. I just don't like metal/aluminum tips...Worth a try?

I replaced the coils, rinsed out the tank with hot water, and even soaked the entire unit in vodka for 30 minutes. I tried the plastic mouth piece instead of metal.
