I have have a rotation of batteries that I purchased over the last year or so. None on them seem like they last as long as they did before. Is there a way to test how much each battery has degraded so I know which ones to replace?
Looked at the tester listed in BardicDruid's post - looks great - but for $80 I would just buy some new batteries to keep as backups for when the others start to fail worse (or keep the old ones as emergency backups if they are at half the normal life) unless of course you are dealing with several dozen batteries
Well this one doesn't test voltage, it tests how much of the rated mAh the battery can deliver, that circuitry isn't cheap. But then again, being an electronics tech for the last 23 years I've had to test a lot of things in ways most people never heard of.
