Looked at the tester listed in BardicDruid's post - looks great - but for $80 I would just buy some new batteries to keep as backups for when the others start to fail worse (or keep the old ones as emergency backups if they are at half the normal life) unless of course you are dealing with several dozen batteries

Just my opinion

If it were about $50-$60 cheaper, I would buy one ... but $80 to test my 3 $10 batteries just seems wrong somehow!
Well this one doesn't test voltage, it tests how much of the rated mAh the battery can deliver, that circuitry isn't cheap. But then again, being an electronics tech for the last 23 years I've had to test a lot of things in ways most people never heard of.
