Test saving nic

I test my new flavors by mixing in water and just tongue tasting. That has worked on all but a couple so far but does anyone know how to vape test a flavor without wasting nic? How would I modify calculator results without nic base to include the nic later after mixing and testing? One thing I've thought of is buying some 3ml bottles and trying to just do a tiny amount that wouldn't make much difference when added to a 30mil bottle if it worked. But is there a better way? Sorry if this has already been asked. I may not have come up with the right search terms but struck out looking.

make it using pure PG, you would have to fiddle with the PG/VG % later but shouldnt be too hard.

That nic changes things up a bit.

Have a bottle of pg/vg mixed the same ration as your nic. If your nic is 50/50 use 50/50 nic-less juice in its place. Should get you as close as possible but expect it to change a little when you add nic.
