Tested the voltage of my ego... quick questions..

don't know........ wish I did......... a half hour? might be time for a new one!

all I know is I took the one that read 3.4 volts on fixed mode and they gave me one back that read 3.9 volts on fixed mode........
and it lasts as long as my other ones....... the 3.4 volt one didn't.........

Didn't the old egos have have two pulsed voltages, a higher and lower one, that averaged out at about 3.4 volts? I don't know if the new ones are still doing it that way.

I doubt it, that would take more circuitry than simply switching between off and battery volts rapidly, which is what I've seen they do.

The twists, spinners etc have a voltage boost circuit as well, but then I think they do the same kind of thing - switch between off and the boosted voltage.

...and it lasts as long as my other ones...
