What do you guys do when you get a sample of a juice you have not previously tried? Right now, all I have is 2 Aspire Nautilus tanks, both of which are currently occupied with their own juice. I received an order of juice today, one is a flavor I already have, and really like; the other is one I've never tried. So, when the rest of you find yourselves in the same situation, do you empty and clean out one of your tanks to try the new flavor, or do you use something like a cartomizer to try it out? I don't want to go through the process of flushing out a tank, refill it with a new juice, replace the atomizer, and discover that I don't like it, only to have to flush it out again, put in a new atomizer, and fill it back up with the juice I had in it before. Suggestions?

The husband and I just bought a little atomizer that we can put just a few drops of e-juice in. I'm told it's used for things that shouldn't be discussed on this forum, but it also works for e-solids and e-liquid. We used it to test out three new flavors...one right after the other and it didn't seem to diminish the taste of the next juice. That way we don't have to empty out a tank full of juice just to taste something. I think it's PERFECT for testing. We actually bought it because we want to try mixing our own but like you, don't want the hassle of cleaning the tank out first. Only takes a couple of drops to taste it

Try one of these, I've got four so I can sample my steepers. you can soak them overnight in vodka and then let them dry a day to clear out any lasting flavors in the wick The HH357 long barrel.

After trying so many e juice's I had to buy something to test with..I love the Eroll and Ecab for this since they have smaller tank setups and aren't to expensive to replace . Even though just rinsing them works. They have that atomizer with the spike and the tank has no filler in it to keep the flavor lingering so simply finish up the juice and rinse the tank... I can see how dripping would work to . Test on the dripper setups and fill up the kayfun for the all day vape sessions...good luck either way the journey of finding good juice is worth it and fun to do..

I use eCabs for testing new flavors, also. You can get a 5 pack of the little tanks pretty cheaply and just switch them out so you can be trying several flavors at the same time.
I use an Igo-T rebuildable. Quick dry burn and cotton swap and you are ready to go again.
Just buy a bunch of tanks. Think about it you already spent $10 on the new e-juice. You can't clean a tank in a day, they need scrubbed and alcohol dried.
Tanks on ebay are cheap, just buy a bunch. Eventually you will settle down to your favorite dozen and you'll be glad you have separate tanks (I even label my tanks.)

It's funny I bought a 306 atty for 6 bucks or so for the same reason, to be able to taste different juices without wasting tanks of juice. The taste experience was sooooo much better, as well as increased vapor, that I don't even bother with tanks at all anymore. I now use a Nemesis clone with an Igo W4 rba. Uses less juice than tanks as well, the downside, dripping in the car is tricky.
oh, and there's less cleaning involved with dripping attys, which is fine for me because I'm sorta lazy

I use a couple of protank 2 minis. I have used a dripping atty and like it for testing. But I've found that sometimes the taste is not quite the same when I move the juice to a tank. I've found I get a better sense of whether I am going to keep using a juice when I run through a full tank in the mini.
Please can someone explain how to get the sleeves that LR 306's come with when you buy them, off?
I have a spare MOD and I put the following on:
510 Bridgeless Atomizer - Stainless - 1.8 ohm
Drip 3 drops in, put a drip tip on and get about 7 draws. When you get a burnt taste, the 3 drips are gone. Go on to a new flavor. I take it to friend's houses and try their flavors.

Buy more clearomizers. I have 5 on order, (Nautilus, 2 Kanger Mini Pro tanks and 2 Aspire ET's I think), own 3 right now and several mini tanks for the Halo G6 batteries.
Wow, this a very timely post for me. I am venturing into the DIY liquid arena and it is a pain testing flavors. I have never used a dripping atomizer so I have no idea how to do that. I did search here for a How To but, as with every other topic here, the amount of information that comes back is overwhelming. I'm not complaining because this place is a great source for me. It's just a bit daunting figuring out what to search for. So, would anyone have a link to a thread or website that would tell me what to buy and how to perform proper dripping?
I have probably 15 tanks. Kanger MT3s & Pro Tank mini's, iclear 30 and iclear 30s's. Maybe I'm not cleaning my tanks correctly? I soak them in vodka overnight or sometimes 2 days if I forget, rinse them with hot water, then dry all the parts with a high powered electric blower/vac my wife got me for Christmas. I build/repair computers in my spare time so this is an awesome tool. I rebuild the atomizers on the Kangers and use cotton. A lot of times all I have to do is dry burn the coils, blow off the gunk, then rewick with cotton.
I'm looking into each of the links provided, which I sincerely thank each poster for, but still need to understand how to use them. Sure seems like it would be easier to check a few drops to see if my juice is ready or if it needs a tweak.

Fantastic thread! I have been using CE4 clones at about $1.99 a pop, use them for a half-day and then clean them out, a day later youv'e got a new tank. My thinking has been along two lines: one, it's cheap and two, if a juice tastes good to me in a top-coil CE4, it'll be even better in my Aeros. I am looking very hard at that .357 though...:thumbsup:
I bought an IGO-W dripper, least expensive one in the store, use a single coil with a minimum amount of cotton for a wick. The dripper gives the opportunity to vape just a few times or quite a few. Once done with a flavor I can either burn off almost all of the old flavor and drip the new flavor that will quickly overrule the old flavor and in other cases a quick wash of the cotton or rewick and I'm ready to go again.
Three or four toots of a flavor is not enough for me to decide to spend any money on a flavor. Even when I do buy a flavor it will be 5-10ml. It takes me a tank or so to decide what I experience as the real taste and if I really like it.
