Testing Mix by the Drop?

I read a post or two (can't find them now) where the person talked of testing a mix by dropping a drop on a APT or something coil. Does anyone know what this is and where I can get one. Seems like a lot better than trying to use a fresh cardo which is what I am doing now to make sure the flavors aren't mixed.

Those old Joye atomizers can take lots of abuse and keep on ticking (if they are still made the same as the old ones I have). No wick or tank to worry about, and you can just rinse and dry burn them over and over and over again. Make sure you put a drip tip on it, if possible. They were designed to work with the old cartridge systems, so they only take a few drops at a time and the metal tube gets hot pretty quickly.
