Testing mixes with an RDA

mods....if I'm being redundant, please feel free to delete my thread and direct us to the right one.

I have a TOBH rda and want some suggestions on taste testing DIY juice.

i have a simple dual coil set up and want to know how you test while mixing. My initial mixes were way heavy on flavoring and this time I want to take a more conservative path, starting with minimal flavoring and working up to perfection.

So, how do you test? 2 drops on each coil for a draw? 4 drops?

yup that's about it I sometimes change the cotton but mostly suicide drip it for first tastes but start with unflaqvored juice and wait till the coils are dry before next flavor

I go about 5 drops. It gives me several draws to really evaluate the juice. But basically the same procedure. Drip - Taste - Clean - Try Again.

I eventually try testing with a single coil in and RDA that's like 20 watts or so, then I do a dual coil at high watts then later in a kayfun at low watts. I do this once a juice is more or less finished to get a good idea of what it does. I do supply friends with juice and it's good to be able to say it something doesn't vape well at different watts. That being said once a juice is dialed in, it is usually good at all watts.

Wow...5 drops works great. Took a chance a minute ago and made 30 ml of a 5% TFA citrus punch with 10% menthol and the menthol was there, but the citrus punch was a bit weak. Did a 5 drop test and added 5% TFA citrus punch. Nice! And the mellowing of the menthol is noticeable. Fun!
