Welcome TexRex.

I smoked for over 40 years. Made a sudden decision to try vaping, convincing my wife to do the same, and haven't looked back. The savings in the banner ad below this post is probably doubled if you take my wife into account. And yes, smokes really are that expensive here in Oz (the gov gets about 85% in tax). Has made the decision so much easier as the cost of smoking far outweighs the cost of vaping.

I must admit, I have used the high savings to jump in the deep end with my vaping and think nothing of spending a couple of bucks to try something new. My office looks like a lab with all the bases for DIY and I have a stack of stuff to sell to my friends if they want to get into it. There are not many Vape Shops around Oz, mainly internet, so it is harder for people to have a face-to-face with someone to learn about it. I did come across some dude selling starter kits in the mall once for about $300 (two batteries and a couple of boxes of cartridges). Nice packaging, but I just shook my head and walked away. But I digress....

There is a pretty steep learning curve before you find your sweet spot. Attys, Cartos, clearos, rebuilding, mods, DIY....... You Tube is your friend. Any question you have, there is a video on it.

Welcome Tex.
