Oh BTW,
My 'ol sneaky snake can go file for his disaster relief now because he is official homeless.
There is no where he can hide in my 'keep it" pile because I cleared it all out of there.
(if I haven't needed any of those "Keep its" by now I'll just go buy one if I ever do need anything that was in that pile)
And to think,,, I knew that snake when he didn't have a pit to hiss in.

Hatfields and McCoys yea watching it now.
My FIL is from Pikeville county. (He said we should root for the McCoys).
He grew up only a few miles from them. We are watching to see if they mention any of his family.

Another good day in New Mexico!
We went to Columbus where Pancho Villa made his raid into the U.S. and went to the museum (about the only thing in Columbus). Here'some pics ...

The mountain and desert pics are where we went rock hunting later and DW got herself a lot more rocks. This was in the Florida (pronounced Flor-ee-dah) Mountains, very beautiful country.
The WalMart here in Deming is something special. We stopped there this morning to get some Rx's refilled. We left and a short time later we got a text message from them saying the Rx's were being taken care of now ... and shortly got another text message saying the Rx's had been filled and were ready for pick up. How about THAT for service!!!
The fire in the Gila has consumed more than 177,000 acres and is still zero per cent contained. They are saying on the news now that it is the largest forest fire in New Mexico history.
Tomorrow I think we're going back to the Big Burro Mountains south of Silver City for more rock hunting for DW and more cod fish sandwiches from Wendy's for me. Woooo Hooooo!!!
Right now I'm heading to bed. That rock hunting is a lot of work!!!

Like I said, she is very talented. She actually does a lot of stuff for hospitals and other businesses.
As opposed to where I live pronounced Flar-duh (like far, with an "L" )
Mostly we can tell the natives from the snow birds by how they pronounce Florida and the little town over by Disney World, Kississmee. The snow birds and tourists will pronounce it kiss-a-me. We pronounce it Kuh-sim-E.
