Good morning FranC! You sure are an early riser!!!

I was hoping to see sweet salem on here this morning. My gosh, I hope our gal is feeling better. She is so precious, always concerned about everybody else. She really deserves to be able to enjoy some good health.

Well, I was going to get up and get started early. I guess I blew that! My brother-in-law's lawnmower quit so I was going to load mine up on my trailer and go mow his yard for him. He's at work but we talked to his wife this morning and it seems he is picking up a new mower at Home Depot this evening and I know he'll want to mow his yard with it. So I decided not to do it.

Then I was going to go outside and start my puttering around and here it is 10:10 am and I haven't moved from my desk. Honey girl delivered breakfast to my desk ... I guess I might be a little bit spoiled. But I did fill all her cartos for her and gave her fresh batteries for everything, so she's all set to go.

One of the daughters is having a little hen party get-together at the lake houses around 11 this morning and honey girl is going out to that.

I guess I need to get up and get moving ... but I probably should take a nap first ... I need to think about this.

Triple digits expected here for the next three days Poor DH has really done well taking care of things the past few weeks but i think it is catching up with him now. I am going to go to the pharmacy and get my script before the worst heat of the day hits.

I hope that everyone has a good one and is able to stay cool

Well, if salem's going to the drug store she must be feeling better! Super happy about that!

Its going to be 99 and 100 degrees here over the next few days too ... just like it has for the last few days. At least the humidity is down a bit for us and that makes it a little more tolerable.

We still have no rain in the forecast and it looks like we might be headed for another drought. Sure hope not.

Ha, we have so much water on each side that it (for the most part) is cooler than where you are or some other places.

All of that water adds humidity to the air. I will take a dry hot over a wet hot anyday Probably the only thing that I do not miss about Charleston is the humidity.

I remember when we went to Vegas the temps were triple digits. But, we could actually stand in the shade to cool off. The drier air made such a big difference.

Hey TT, did Mrs TT get the results back from her scans yet? How has she been feeling?

They still have to do the bone scan, the machine was down when she went in for her appointment and that part was rescheduled. Her organs (pancreas, liver, kidney's, etc.) were clear, her cancer cell count is down and overall I guess everything is okay. Her lymph nodes on the right side of her neck showed some enlargement and her doctor is going to keep a close eye on that. But overall it was a good report.

LOL, there is no slowing this gal down! She's always on her way somewhere to do something and spends more time looking after me than I do for her!

Its a good thing that I'm such a low maintenance kind of guy!

we had 104 today but it supposed to cool off for the next few day, only 98.
