Well from the looks of things everyone seems Happy !
What a beautiful day today its 75 and perfect sunny day.
Put the larger potted figs out back and did some trimming on them.
Cut off an airlayer that was left on over the winter in storage and i saw a few good roots so i put in little container and hid it under the Hostas out of the direct sun to see what becomes of it.

Sat on the swing and enjoyed vaping for a bit as the dogs jumped up on the seat to relax with me , this tank i really like as i dont have to keep refilling it and no leaks, no gurgles etc just pure pleasure .
Might check back later is there a party tonight ?
If so i can wear my new blue socks !
Ciao

And now, the big news!!!! We had an earthquake!!! For real!!! It was centered about a mile west of our house and was a 3.7 quake! Now all of you who have spent any time in southern California know that a 3.7 quake isn't anything, but for around here its the talk of East Texas! It shook some homes pretty good and scared the tar out of a lot of the old ladies.
TT
Hi All!

Wow TT, an earthquake! We had one 18 months ago and it was one of the craziest things I ever felt! I hid under my desk. Some people at work haven't looked at me the same way since that day! Oh Well...it was scary

I always thought the ground just shook, I wasn't expecting the swaying! It was the talk of the town for well, 18 months! There are still some that talk about it! Then the damages needed to be repaired. It shook some blocks loose from the Washington Monument that needed to be replaced, and a couple stones from the National Cathedral fell.

glad you survived!

LOL, this was just a itty bitty quake Padre, nothing like what you guys had.

But out in southern California I got to experience some real good ones!!

My office was a newer building and was built on huge springs and the building would bounce but not have any real damage. I had a LOT of co-workers who seemed to enjoy spending time under their desks.

One time I was on one of the freeways when a big quake hit and I was right in between two tractor-trailer rigs and I could see the pavement undulating in front of me! That time I was a little bit nervous!! No ... I was a whole lot nervous!

Hiya salem! Glad you popped in. We never did get much rain today and its looking like the worst of it is going to miss us tonight.

Sure looking forward to our Mothers Day fish fry out at the lake on Sunday! That's going to be a good time.

Have a little puttering around to do tomorrow, but nothing hard or complicated.

I know you're going to enjoy having your grandbaby again! Hope its a fun week for you.

Lubs, TT

Hey TT, You sure that your EQ isn't because of all them oil wells fracking out the natural gas?

LOL, a lot of people really seem to think that is the case Gummy Bear, but to be honest, I really don't think so. We do have gas wells in our area and they do frack them, but they are so far apart that its hard for me to believe they could affect the earth that much, especially considering the depths that earthquakes occur.

If you looked on Google Earth and were able to pin point all the wells in East Texas, I think you'd see that they are nothing compared to how much land there is. No, I don't think the wells have anything to do with it.

I think its because of all the great big, huge women stomping around in WallyMarts that's causing the earthquakes and the clouds of gas they give off are warming the atmosphere. I've seen some danged big ones running around at WallyMarts!!

TT Glad you will have a nice easy day before the big fish fry for the mommas!

I have a busy one planned. Cleaning the house so all the mommas in my family can come over and mess it up again on Sunday, then we are going to take the kayaks out again. I will be on the lookout for hippos or any other waterlife.

Then the big hockey game Saturday night! Game 7's are usually pretty amazing!

Yeah, those momma's can sure be messy!

Just be sure to hide all your variable voltage mods, .... plugs, carto condoms, etc. so that you don't end up with a major riot on your hands!

I don't know what would be more interesting. Game 7 of a hockey game or rioting momma's!!! Personally, I'd go for the hockey game! Less dangerous!
