ECX just got 120 new concentrated DIY flavors in. I have a feeling that we will not see much more of Sd lol
LOL I started off here but ended up looking at all of these flavors. OMG real cig...a must. Sorry but flavorings are like shiny objects...they attract me. Of course by the time I realized it I forgot I was posting at TTs. Sorry :(

Good morning FranC and everybody else as they arrive here.

We sure had a good crowd on here last night and it was so frustrating for me ... I was trying and trying to post and once in a while one of my posts would get through, but I just couldn't get enough WiFi signal to join the conversations.

We're thinking about leaving Arizona on Saturday and heading east. We choose Saturday for getting through El Paso on a slower traffic day (its a son-of-a-gun) but I'm wondering how things will be on the road with it being Memorial Day weekend.

Anyhow, perhaps soon we'll be somewhere where we have more reliable WiFi.

Hope everyone has a great Friday and for those of you with jobs ... get out of there early! Tell 'em I said it was okay!

I was also wondering how Memorial Day weekend would be for travel. I try to avoid it if I am able to. Maybe Friday will be the worst and Saturday won't be too bad for you.

We're sitting here trying to decide if we want to leave Willcox on Saturday or wait until Sunday. Our thinking is that Sunday might be less of a heavy traffic day. The initial plan is to go over to Van Horn, Texas and spend a night there and maybe go on to Alpine, Texas because there is some good rock hunting in that area.

Then we'll decide on Uvalde and we'll end up in Mason, Texas for sure. Good rock hunting there too.

Then from Mason we'll just take the truck on home (I think its a six or seven hour drive) and then honey girl and the two daughters will return to Mason and spend several days there in the trailer. Good chance for them to do some serious visiting together. And it was MY idea!!! It will be fun for them though and a nice little vacation for the girls away from their kids. Their husbands might want my head on a stick though. LOL!!

Its REAL windy here today. Yesterday and the day before the wind was so high that huge clouds of dirt were blowing across Interstate 10. Made for some serious hazards driving. But, I've always said that Arizona and New Mexico is where the wind is born. Up around Alamogordo where kgj lives, all the Stetson cowboy hats are threaded on the inside so they can screw them down real tight to keep them from blowing away.

I actually love his (kgj's) part of New Mexico. He has some stupendous scenery there, lots of really nice towns close by to go and do things and there's even a big lake not far away. I think if I had the opportunity to live back out this way again that's the area I would be in. But that's probably never going to happen. If any of you ever have the chance to vacation out this way that's one of the areas I would recommend visiting.

Anyhow, today might end up just being a rest day and as hard as I try, I just can't find any problem with that!

Oh, they are so going to get you back for this, TT :)

I think that Sunday will be a much easier travel day. By then most people will already be where they are going and off the roads IMO.

Pad, I have not yet looked at that link but I am betting that it is the same stunts that Jim Cantore likes to pull when he is covering tropical storms/hurricanes lol

Off for an oil change and to see my mom. I hope that everyone has a great Friday!

Close Salem, but this is a reporter form Romania that went to do a shot on high winds and when he got there the winds had died down. He had someone that he thought was off camera start kicking up sand to make it look like bad weather!

    Hey Padre,

I'll bet the only reason why that phony ... Jim Cantore hasn't done that is because he isn't smart enough to think of it.

That dude is beyond weird! I was watching him being "blown around" on a pier one time in his rain coat and grimacing at the supposed high winds and holding onto a railing to keep his balance when all of a sudden a grey haired couple in shorts and sports shirts walked behind him apparently unaffected by the storm Cantore was experiencing just a few feet in front of them.
