I bet oly_r now knows what the one legged man at the ... kicking contest feels like.
Went over to Vapestock yesterday. Got there to late to get tickets for the door prizes Man that frizzed me off. No one mentioned that you had to be there by 3PM. But all was well after we got to meet everyone. Walked around and signed a few autographs and was having a lot of fun until LD showed up and found my left leg,,,,, Dang I'll never get that stain washed off now.

Our electricity went off dead at midnight, I guess the power company was doing some work somewhere and it had got hot in the house and on top of that the TRIPP-LITE Surge Protector on my computer was tweeting (it did its job and I was able to shut down my computer properly) so I got the tweeting stopped.
Then later the power came back on and I got up again to turn out lights that had been on when the power went off and to set the air conditioning so honey girl wouldn't get too hot and bothered. I don't mind her being overheated, but you know how it is when she's "bothered." I can't walk for one or two days afterward. Then I had to vape a little so I restarted my computer and of course, checked in here. And there was our sweet Melissa.
So that's what I was doing up in the middle of the night.
Hey Gummy Bear. I wouldn't have cared about the ticket to get door prizes at Vapetock because I never win anything anyhow, but I sure would have loved to have one of your autographs! Wow, now that would be a treasure to have that I could tell my grandkids about. Oh, wait ... I already have grandkids.
And I'm sorry about what LD did to your leg (again). There's another pair of britches for the trash can!!

Sorry about the knee Oly. Loosey Goosey sounds like an ACL problem!
My oldest daughter tore both about a year apart and one of my dogs tore both his too!
We had the surgery for the daughter, but we only had one of the dogs repaired. The other is still torn.
Once the pain from the tear went away, he is doing fine! Limps every once in a while but $2000 to fix it... No thanks
The ACL is what keeps the top part of the knee in line with the lower part. If the knee is loose, then the ligament is gone. Back in the old days they just called it a trick knee because if not fixed, your knee could give out and maybe cause a stumble
The surgery to repair is a doozy! my daughter didn't leave the couch for a week and could not run for 6 months

The nice thing is that today we have the knowledge and ability to repair the human body (not to mention all those wonderful Nurses) and I'm certainly proof of that!
