I hate when people treat others that way - no excuse for such rudeness - was it because of the avi they had chosen???

You better check. I have a lot of experience with the risque type. Not so much with the multicolored ones.

Depends. Mostly, I'm pretty indifferent to them, but if someone uses one that I find borderline offensive I tend to be leery of him/her.
