OMG! That is terrible. However, I know how the Illinois state troopers have their spider webs on I-55. One time I was driving south of Bloomington and one of those guys almost sideswiped me. He was trying to catch up with a speeder (I assume.)

I will have to remember that story so I don't get a ticket when I use my GoGirl while traveling. :)

Good morning gang. (And tickle tickle)
All this "Go-Girl" talk reminded me of the time this girl came into the bar and bet all us guys $ 3.00 that she could pee up the wall higher than any of us could.
When we all got through laughing we put up our money thinking it would worth three bucks just to get to see that. So she measured off 3 feet from the wall and stood there on the line and pulled up her dress and leaned way back and whizzed about 6" up the wall. We was all laughing so hard. Then Buba stepped up to the line and started to go when she yelled out at him,,,, NO, NO, NO !!! no hands.

Years ago, my husband and I were on a trip to the Outer Banks. We had driven 5 or 6 hours to get there. There was a performance of an outdoor play that I really wanted to see, so we drove several more hours to get to it. DH, tired from all the driving, slept through the play. Because he was so tired I drove back to the B&B where we were staying. It had been raining heavily, and the roads were deserted. I guess you could call it a 'frog choker' rain, because huge frogs were hopping across the road the whole trip back. I cringed every time I heard the "thunk" of another one I had hit. I mean there were thousands of them. So, I'm driving along this deserted road, DH asleep beside me, for what seemed like hours. Not a restroom in sight. My thimble-sized bladder held on as long as it could, as I searched for anywhere with a bathroom. Finally, I pulled to the side of the road, went around to the passenger side of the car and squatted (since I can't pee standing up :)). Of course DH chose that moment to wake up, with me outside his window answering nature's call. I got back in the car, started back on our journey... and there...less than a mile up the road... was a Rest Stop!

LOL, TG. That reminds me of a story my SIL recently told me. She has worked for the post office for about 30 years now. They had a guy transfer from the post office in Long Island to the Spartanburg branch. Anyway, my SIL went to work one morning and told this guy that it came up a gully washer at her house the night before. Of course this guy had never heard the phrase and was quite perplexed by it. The next morning as he was driving in to work, he noticed that it was raining so hard the ditches were overflowing with water and a light bulb went off in his head.

It was much funnier to hear my SIL tell the story :)

Happy Hump Day in TT land!
You folks talking about "frog chokers" and "gully washers" remind me of one of my trips to Texas when we were getting directions and, in her deep southern accent, this woman kept telling us to "take the feeder" to the highway - but it sounded like "talk da feedah" and we were soooo confused!!
We don't have "feeder" roads out here. We just have highways and streets and the occasional ditch.
Still, I must say that everyone we met in Texas was sooo helpful and nice to us! Even the people at the TSA at the airport were really nice. Pretty touchy feely, but nice!
