that was it! IrishTexan! I saw the avi and I was thinking why is TT here

he rarely ventures too far from the couch!

those threads sure are keeping the mods on their toes! I saw CW, Roly and SJ all deleting responses

LOL, I went and read some parts of some of the Threads in the Main ECF Forum.

Now I know why I never go there.

Happy Hump Day in TT land!
You folks talking about "frog chokers" and "gully washers" remind me of one of my trips to Texas when we were getting directions and, in her deep southern accent, this woman kept telling us to "take the feeder" to the highway - but it sounded like "talk da feedah" and we were soooo confused!!
We don't have "feeder" roads out here. We just have highways and streets and the occasional ditch.
Still, I must say that everyone we met in Texas was sooo helpful and nice to us! Even the people at the TSA at the airport were really nice. Pretty touchy feely, but nice!

That must be a Texas thing, TV. I have never heard access roads called feeder roads in
my area

LOL, I guess that avvie is a Texas thing! But that's okay, Pokey personalized my avvie and that one won't be copied!

Where is that Thread with all the UK stuff at?

You're right Padre. I don't fly very far from the nest!

TT

They are close enough. Every time that I see that guy I do a double take thinking it is you.

Well she was here a while ago. Maybe she had to go pee on sumpen.

LOL, I think salem is going to put a great big whooping on us if we don't change the subject ... although I do have to admit that the subject of ...... sure generated a lot of responses and conversations.

And according to Wikipedia, "Urine (from Latin Urina, ae, f.) is a typically sterile liquid by-product of the body." So its really not something nasty that requires sterilization or heavy duty cleaning if emanating from a healthy human body. In fact, during WW1 when soldiers had a small wound they were typically told to "piss on it" to cleanse the wound ... or so I've read. That may be where the term originated, but I haven't been able to verify that.

Well, I'm glad salem loves us and will forgive us .... maybe.

Feeder roads, although used to get on and off freeways, usually run parallel to the Freeway. In most places the access roads are only for getting on or off the freeway and don't always run alongside the freeway.

And I'm not talking about cities where you might have a street running parallel to the freeway.

Now I could be wrong on this because I haven't been everywhere. But in Texas, even way out in the countryside, there will often be feeder roads running alongside the freeway.

That was one of the Threads I looked at.

I've dealt with TW in the past, although not since I found Vapor Junction, but anyhow I never had any problem with them. I guess most of their problems stem from some of the owners rants, at least according to what I read.

TT

Yes, sound like he got extremely nasty with some of the customers and then threatened to sue the UK Forum for allowing slanderous remarks. The entire ordeal shut the UK Forum down. Putting many vendors out of business at least short term from what I have heard. Not good PR at all IMO.

Happy Wed TT'rs. I am avoiding all drama at all cost. I did peek at the thread mentioned (TW). However, people love to add drama and suspense. I think I will watch "the young and the hopeless". I like to stay positive as much as possible. Laughter and being full of it seems a better option...kinda like TT!

My kinda woman!!!
