For the most part I DIY. Every once in a while, I buy them just to try something different.

Couple of years ago in Florida. Someone narced on him and police were waiting to search his plane when he landed. They found less than 1 gram of .......... He owned up to it and I don't remember what the final outcome was. As he said, "If I have less than a gram of ........., I consider myself out of .........."
