TFA Brown Sugar Extra

Does anyone know offhand if TFA Brown Sugar Extra is EM, sucralose or other based? I looked on perfumers apprentice site and it doesn't say. I did a search here too and couldn't find anything. There is a recipe I've been working on and I've already got some EM in it, it needs more sweet and brown sugar would be great but only not if it's more EM.

Judging from TFA's website, it doesn't appear that it contains any sweetener or EM. Their sweetener lists sucralose as an ingredient and their cotton candy lists EM as an ingredient. Seems to me if it contained either ingredient, it would be listed as such.

Thanks Face. It definitely sweetens though, what else could it be? Maybe I should just ask them. I don't want to know any secrets, just if it has EM or not. I'm already on the 6th evolution of this recipe, it's >l< this close. lol

I don't see why they'd have a problem disclosing whether or not it contains EM or sucralose.

I think Face is on the right track here. To my taste buds, it tastes more like a mix of white and brown sugar more so than straight brown sugar and I really think it's a synthesized flavor.

At any rate, I love it. I have a sweet tooth, and the TFA brown sugar extra is fantastic in my 'backy mixes. Yum!

I heard too much EM will mute the other flavors. So yeah, you do want to know if it has em.

I just ordered some TFA Brown Sugar Extra everyone seems to think its a 5/5

I sent them an email through their site, I'll let ya'll know if I get an answer. Like john333 said, I don't want more EM. I added it to combat the dryness of the peanut butter flavoring, and it does a bit, but the sweetness kind of stops after the vapor hits my tongue and registers on my palate not at all. I may try a small batch today with just BSX and see but I'm running out of peanut butter. Of course. lol

I just got an answer to my email from Linda. She said she is not sure but would venture a guess that (BSX) it does (contain EM). Alrighty then.
