Suggest a TFA flavor to give "body", "depth" and "bottom"

The title says it all, really. I'm experimenting with mixes using TFA flavors exclusively. Many of the resulting e-liquids taste a little thin, without "bottom", "depth", "low notes", whatever. So I'm looking for a TFA flavoring that will impart more substantiality without overly affecting the primary taste of the juice. I have "smoother" and the sucralose sweetener, brown sugar etc. (the latter helps sometimes, but does have a strongish taste of its own), and the former just seem to soften the flavor without giving extra depth.

Any ideas?

TFA Graham cracker or caramel candy at 4-8% might add some depth and lower notes for you. I consider them both very light flavor-wise, even at high percentages like 10-12%, so have always considered them for blending into a mix in ways like what you are looking for.

French vanilla might be a good fit for this too, around 2-4%

Much obliged to you for those intriguing suggestions, Aurora-Oblivion. Those 3 have just gone onto the top of my next order from TFA. In the meantime, I'll keep adding a little brown sugar, as it's better than nothing when it comes to "body".

BTW, which would you recommend for preference - "Graham Cracker Flavor" or "Graham Cracker Clear"? "French Vanilla Deluxe", "French Vanilla II", or "French Vanilla"? There seem to be two or three options in each case now.

I have been experimenting lately with Lorranns-flavorings-Anise Oil purchased at wal mart that tastes like Licorice and adding a little menthol and have been having good luck

I take a tooth pic and dip it into the small Anise Oil bottle and then stick the tooth pick into my tank on my clearomizer and lrt it set for

about 3 minutes and then tip my mod back and forth to mix the Anise oil in and then I can try this without mixing up too much--into a bottle

and wasting supplys. This method gives me a general idea of what it tastes like.

Suggest a TFA flavor to give "body", "depth" and "bottom"

Adding .5% EM and .5% marshmallow will give any mix "body", "thickness", "depth" and "bottom" and will not take on the additives taste. This is called accenting a mix.

My blog on additives will give you more insight on enhancing a mix.

Sorry for not being more clear on the names. I would suggest Graham Cracker Clear, and regular French Vanilla (Not deluxe or II/V2, cream one may be good but I haven't tried it)

I also agree with the above mentions of using Marshmallow, it's a great one for adding body when used lightly as mentioned, Bavarian cream too.

Another +1 for Sweet Cream as well as Vanilla Swirl. Ive only used em for the most part in recipes Ive gotten off here that rock as is so take that for what its worth hehe.. They were pretty much "the key" that helped me get my simple single flavor mixes going after my first month or so when I was just mixing fruit flavor+PG+VG+nic and not getting anything remotely close to what I wanted..

Head over to the big TFA thread and join the club..
