I plan on picking up some new flavors soon and need help.Im thinking about getting TFA watermelon and koolada .How is the watermelon? Is it worth getting? Also would like some opinions on another fruit flavor to mix up and 1 or 2 bakery type flavors that would be good.I already have vanilla cupcake and double chocolate which I combined to make a chocolate cupcake mix and I did the cupcake on its own too.I want to have a few more bakery type flavors to mix up for my friends and any help on a nice tobacco would be good too. Thanks guys Llet me know your best stand alone flavors and mixes I could try and would also like advice on how much koolada to add for 10mls watermelon and other fruit mixes :)

My fruit experience is somewhat limited, but I'll post my opinion on a couple.

Apple - jolly rancherish
Orange Cream - pretty good, reminds me of an orange cream cicle
Dragon Fruit - tastes like sugar fruit (candy - runts)
Blueberry extra - delicious, one of my favorites
Ripe Banana - horrid, tastes like banana cleaner
Strawberries and Cream - hard candy, not all that great
Raisin - hard to describe, very potent, haven't tried it on its own yet

And, I think that's all that I've tried as far as TFA fruits go. I really like TFA's Banana nut bread, as bakery flavors go.

I like the desert ship. It mixes well.
The cowboy blend I'm reasonably sure is an ingredient in Wyatt Earp. I can't get enough of this stuff. I like to mix it with the desert ship.
How is the cowboy compared to Virginia? Desertship compared to Virginia? I wasnt a fan of the Wyatt earp.

Here are the TFA fruits I really like. Most of them I like at 12% with 5% EM (I like the sweeter side of things).

Watermelon
Juicy Peach (not the regular peach; this is my new fruit favorite)
Pineapple (very acidic; to prevent coughing I use at 5%); Juicy Peach & Pineapple mixed 50/50 is really good (I use 6% each and add 5% EM)
Pear
Papaya (I like this one, but it's not a favorite)
Cantaloupe (I like it, but others have posted that it tastes weak to them)
Cherry Blossom (has good taste, but to me it does have a perfumey or chemical undertone to it)

Good as standalone flavors:

The apple pie is pretty good as a standalone; I'm vaping it right now. I mixed at 12% + 5% EM. The spices are not overpowering; you can actually taste the apple in it.

The English Toffee is good as a standalone, if you like that flavor. Guess I'm fixated at 12% flavor for TFA.

I like Vanilla Cupcake as a standalone, but I also use it to mix with other flavors.

Simple Mixes:

Buttery Nipple is made with 14% Butterscotch & 7% Irish Cream (I added 5% EM). This recipe came with the ejuicemeup calculator. It's one of my all-time favorites.

Cafe Mocha is my own recipe. If you like really strong coffee with a hint of creaminess, try 5% Coffee, 3% Mocha, 3% Bavarian Cream, & 5% EM (optional for sweetness).

Hope this helps a little. Here's to your success!

Edited to add: I noticed Levitus mentioned the orange cream. I've tried it and yeah, I like that one also as a standalone flavor.

On The Flavor Apprentice watermelon at 15% TFA Sweetener In 10ml I use about four drops of Flavor Art MTS to take the perfumey edge off the watermelon and just four drops of koolada.. It works for me... Taste is so subjective... Start out light though.. Koolada can make you cough if you use too much and MTS can really blunt the flavor.

Good Luck!

I, unfortunately, haven't tried the Virginia. Someone once suggested that Cowboy + Virginia = Wyatt Earp. I need to place a new order for FA liquids, especially the ones I haven't tried. Sorry I couldn't be of more help on that front.

I'm trying out some new blueberry mixes (blueberry + vanilla swirl, blueberry + redbull which is supposed to taste like sweet tarts), but haven't had a chance to taste them. I do a "Death by Berries" (Blueberry, blackberry, strawberry, raspberry) and a "Black n Blueberry" (pretty self explanatory) that are to die for. The TFA blackberry is phenomenal.

I almost mixed up blueberry and belgian waffles last night, but I haven't worked up the nerve to try the waffles (was a free sample from WL).

Please let me know how the waffle tastes :) If you want sweet tart flavor just use the gummy candy on its own tastes just like it :) I use 12 drops in 10mls with 2 drops EM and tastes perfect :)
I also have good gummy bear recipe if anyone is interested :)

I figured I should go light on the koolada .It recommends 10 drops per 10mls but think I will just start with half that and 10 percent on the watermelon and add more of each if needed .Has anyone tried the green apple? I want to make a apple jolly rancher mix and it sounds like I should just get the regular apple instead .

Another question,What is best needle for my base ? I have a 18g and it doesnt seem to fill up good.So I have just been using regular 5ml syringe from one of my kids old medicines but its a pain to get all the base when the bottle starts getting below half filled.I use a 50/50 blend but plan on getting 70vg/30pg blend next time around.I need a good 10ml syringe setup as I tend to make 10ml and 30ml batches .

How is the juicy peach? More of a natural peach or candy taste?

When I measure VG I don't use a needle. I just pull through the syringe. You have to be a little patient with that though, and make sure the excess drips back out. You get the hang of it quickly.

WL sells good 10ml syringes, as well as good 1mls (great for tiny amounts of flavoring). They are all luer-lock.

I use a blunt tipped what I can only imagine is a 16g for PG. Maybe 16 or 14 would be better for your 50/50.
